It was a freezing night in the back country camp site, so we built a huge fire and complained about the state the site had been left.
I don't want to mince words; I'm disgusted. I'm disgusted at how anyone thinks it's ok to leave a site in this state, and I'm disgusted at how common it is. If you leave camp sites full of litter and your own camping junk "for other campers", leave right now. Stop watching. These are baby camping rules that you should already know. Clean up after yourselves; and for those of you that DO clean up after yourselves, thank you. You are paragons in the camping community. Please keep doing what you're doing, and join me in cleaning up after lowlife losers. They need to be shamed as much as possible. It's reprehensible.

Only time I bought a Four Loco was in the grocery store that was in College Town for like 8 months in 2015. It was TERRIBLE! The trash leaving it says everything you need to know about Four Loco.

Yo, Alps Mountaineering isn't to be joked about. I've used Alps for years in many absolute downfalls, never a leak. I did splurge on a Marmot for weight and overall I think it's a better tent (10% better for many times the price sorta thing), I will always suggest someone starts off with an Alps tent and I'm always looking at what they offer. They are generally a great product for something I would consider entry level price.

i dont know why i thought of this as im watching this again at 1:30 am but theres a shoe brand called Hoka that makes hiking and backpacking shoes that may be nice for you to look in to. they are mildly expensive but i found a pair of them at a goodwill and they are very comfortable

This must've been a US Forest Service campsite. The last time my daughter and I stayed at a USFS campsite in the green mountain national forest in late October it was absolutely trashed!!! Fires still going, beer cans in fire pit, large black ripped up trash bag empty, axed up picnic tables for firewood, dog shit EVERYWHERE... I called the district office to let them know what we ran into but he told me that they keep that campground there to keep the yayhoos in one location.
