Tip for freedom: while in flicker (purple/hitman) if you are planning to switch to smash(red) press heavy twice, before the 2nd heavy press the change button then instantly press heavy, this will cause your heavy to have the same heavy animation and speed of flickers (purple/hitman) heavy but the damage of smash (red) heavy. (I know this is a lot of yapping and i may haven’t explained the idea like how its in my head but trust me this glitch is amazing)
So, you use flicker then use your heavy to let it change to smash and then you use your heavy again before quickly switching while you are in the animation. And the out come is the heavy of smash has the same speed of flickers? I think I made it worse Heavy [ let's you change your style to smash ] Heavy again while still in flicker mode Switch Then your heavy becomes quicker
@@soupcan2 so its like this Be in flicker Use heavy once Change then quickly press heavy again ( easier way to do this is to put 2 of your fingers on the change and heavy button, press change and with your other finger quickly use heavy)
This glitch happens to make randomly but it is pretty cool cuz instead of throwing ur heavy on the right , you throw it on the left and its flicker heavy speed
Despite the nerf, I still used ghost, as my sole style, to get to 21k rated since it’s the closest to a real style - ricardo lopez’s style - and it’s pretty balanced. All you need to do it’s not to rely on ghost jabs and make use of it speed and mobility.
The problem is it's essentially just a slower basic with ghost jab, you have to use techniques to make ghost DECENT, still not even being top 10, they need to speed up the m1 to be slightly faster than basic.
@@alexnunez1853Or, hear me out, bring back the Motionless Jab it had for 2 weeks, inbetween OG Ghost and the Ghost Jab as an ability. It keep the same jab speed but is much harder to see coming, as the animation is, well _motionless_ . It's lore accurate to Ricardo too, his jab isn't instant, its fast and hard to notice.
Ghost style still op on my opinion,i grind balrog with ghost and got it :D Overall, great legendary i ever use i mean only ghost the legendary style that I'm not bored to use.
Ghost is still S tier in my opinion one of the best as once you even get semi ok with it its one of the only styles you'll need. Fast m1s, basically aim bot m2 with high range, higher range when feinting, no highlights, high combo potential, great dashes and decent block as well. Ghost has little to no real cons even with the nerfs if you focus on staggering or even combo snowballing with mainly just m1 and rarely use your m2. You can easily get 20k rank with this style or high. This is coming from a turtle main.
snowballing opponents can be hard with ghost because it had bad chip damage and bad m1 damage overall. It itself has a bad block so if you get caught once while trying to catch someone in an m1 chain, almost any style can make you unblock without throwing m2. its even harder cause if you get into an endgame, the opponent has ult and you get caught in an m1 chain, you have no choice but to get hit because your gonna get ulted and you will take much more damage
@@noobatbedwars7716bro you either don't play the game or have never played with ghost. Ghost m1 are average sure but not close to bad. Maybe the chip damage is the issue and combo potential means what it says. Do you just m1 your opponent death do you not try to mix it up and use a few different combos like 3 m1s into a feint that confuses the opponent or feinting enough to mix up your opponent with back to back m2s that lead into a ghost jab or m1s. It's pretty clear that your knowledge on ghost and the game is lacking if the first thing you say is his damage is bad. Sounds like a skill issue from someone who can use a style that takes skill.
@@Jxy_4 there are more polite ways to put this, but you're kinda right. He used to be able to predict them when drowningsome was still adding HNI characters.
Fun fact: while you are hitting The enemy, if your stamina ran out You can still dodge the upcoming Attack your enemy will use. Just backdash, because even though The enemy blocked it will still deal An endlag to him, and just as when He is about to hit you can dash back And survive with only a mere stud (Works on slow styles like: slugger, Iron fist, ippo, turtle, basic, smash etc). This actually worked on me and still To this day, it was A 2-1 and i am half health. I dont wanna Lose my 14 streak so i did the exact Thing and prayed for it to work. And i managed to win with my Health only being half💀💀💀 (Im using wolf) (Enemy was using ghost) I dont know how my trick worked on One of the fastest styles (ghost)
ghost definetly needs some buffs still. i say revert the nerf to chip damage and make the ghost jab deal a lil more damage+make the damage dealt by ghost jab true, so you can't heal it
The biggest thing with wanting to main ghost is that you MUST NOT rely on the ghost jab... although the jab is good just using your footwork and landing good hits will make you deal massive damage without needing to start a m1 string with a jab
@@Bubba4705 maybe it can rock on his idea you know? Maybe do the damage like an m2 or maybe even a counter m2 but not change the animation and make it stay unreactable like it is. Its a damage unlockable move so its simply just a reward for unlocking it.
My mains a 21k ranked and out of boredom I decided to make a alt with ghost to see how far I can get on rank. I managed to hit 20k but got hard capped there because of the exact same technique you’ve shown in the video. I might be able to hit a new rank record for myself using ghost now that I know how to use this technique.
personally, i feel like ghost could really use a better rework, and I do have a concept that y'all can read below New gimmick: Hidden body blow, pretty fast (shotgun m2 speed), no highlight and does slightly more damage than basic m2 (ippo m2) (Looks similar to iron fist m2 but less wind up and alot faster) CD : 10 or 12 seconds gimmick change: If you land an m2 counter your next m1 will be a ghost jab Balance changes: slightly faster m2 (to about counter m2 speed, but still easy to pd) and thats about it, am i cookin or did i burn the kitchen.
I once fought a freedom user with ghost. He was hella good at using his modes, and also at irritating me. I barely won, 3-2. By far the best freedom user I've met.
In accordance to his Most Fun Legendary Video, his most favorites are Long Guard, Smash, Kimura, Ippo, Hands Low, and Shotgun, with Ippo and Hands Low being his Mains. His most favorite Legendary is Chronos, as he almost never uses the rest of the Legendaries unless it’s a showcase.
they should rework the jab sound of ghost style not the ghost jab the actual jab aka m1 the jabs should have like fire sound or like something else that fits a new jab sound for ghost style even its m2 sound
They need to buff ghost jab range if its hard to get it. I legit used ghost jab just to escape combo because i cannot use it for attacks. When i do, it somehow doesn't hitm my ping isnt bad, its 90-150 average and my fps is decent staying at 15+ but if i play 2 or 3 games, then it will start to lag
So we basically have a style that's have ability to literally stun lock you for some time and gain old ghost threatening (Ability could be recharged automatically). Mmm the bad thing i PLAY FOR FUN and hate people when they slow M1 🗿
@@noobatbedwars7716 Manga spoilers Ricardo is actually able to block a smash with no big trouble against wally, so I think his block should be more of like average to above average, so yeah.
Well something might change or its me cuz i went into the game and all players above diamond or or just diamond ranked players just use hitman but i think after this vid they might change it to ghost next or i might be tripping
No they wont. High rankers will mostly use shotgun or hitman or wally or maybe even wolf and kimura just put it up there. Ghost is a really hard style to use and it depends a bit on your opponents playstyle
nah body blow is the strongest because it’s so buggy that even if you clearly dodge it you still get hit and it does iron fist m2 damage and that bullshit can also take away all of your recoverable health
