So this video is getting far more attention than I ever thought, so I feel I should clarify the "Trend" I'm referring too. Its that launching myself high into the air will result in me finding funny bugs here and there. As my description says, I love this game. I don't think bugs like these are bad at all. Honestly I love games with launching mechanics, like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. I've spent hours throwing myself into the aether and laughing at how far I can go.
Some people find the flying off annoying But i love running arround, searching for something to do, kinda bored and then suddenly- WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I used to find stuff like this in sonic adventure by running up the wall in mystic ruins it took me thousands of attempts but i would constantly find random geometry to stand on and thats what i loved about the adventure titles
When I first started I spent half an hour launching myself off that curve to get to the unused mountain area before I was told there was an invisible wall there. I also learnt how to speedrun the game to have save files right before fighting the bosses using glitches to get in their arenas so I can take one step forward and instantly fight them (since I’m on switch and hoping for a boss rush mode in the DLC update 1 since super sonic is in the image). Managed to get to the third island in an hour and 10 minutes
@@TheOmegaFighter Probably won't help me, I'm really bad at getting up invisible walls... Speedrun strats are hard. But I found it neat !! I found an invisible barrier on a string a while ago and it's so cheeky lmao. So rude ! I find stuff like this really cool.
Let's also not forget that this invisible collision box starts directly at the top of a climbable wall Not above the platform that comes after the climbable wall, it's just casually on top of a climbable wall, making it so there's literally no purpose to that wall because you can't use it to get anywhere
You can launch yourself off a number of things, I usually launch off of the base of the cyberspace portals (you can launch off of the front left of portals)
Irk. just don't forget that oranous was also a part of them. but fans have found the early kronos with rhea and oranous connected so everything is alright..........mostly
i feel like if they added momentum, the game movement wouldn't change that much honestly, is not about momentum but the way they designed the environment to be automated and to make sonic heavily dependant on rails and platforms.
I honestly had more fun breaking the automation and skipping certain springs and dash pads. Broke multiple 2d sections in chaos. Hopefully next game is just freedom.
@@christopherwashi lol i know, those 2d sections were used a lot on there, and kinda annoying at times, probably my least favorite island but still pretty cool
But imagine what you could up there You could stand there, thinking about kangaroos riding a unicycle Don't know why someone would think about that, but they could.
Yet another out of context bug that you have to go out of your way for that will be blown out of proportion even though most people will never ever see this on a normal playthrough
