A limited edition of my favourite urban skate, the Powerslide Next. No War. Blue & Yellow. Serious and playful. This is my first urban skate flow with it. Also my first time on a 3x110 Trinity frame. How does it ride? Peace.

Yeah the 3x110´s are super. Pitty the breaking power is seriously reduced compared to a normal 4 wheel set up. But the speed and stability on bad surfaces is umatched.

I’d go for the Next in that case. 150 euros is a bargain for that skate. Not everybody likes the Next’s fit, though. So try before you buy.

The only story that seems to have the Next for 150 euros, is Bladeville (located in Poland), The skateshop in my town, Sliding Tiger, is selling the Next Core Black for the usual price of 274 euros. Maybe you can risk ordering it online, depending on your feet size. The Next has double sizing: 40-41, 42-43, and so on. So if you've got the small size of the two, you probably can take the risk. :-)

@@TheRollingRaptor I'm a 45, but I don't know if the boots fall small or if I should go a size up 🤔 There are not many stores here which offer the next at around 170, they're usually all around the 240€ mark, but also not many fully black 4wheel versions.

I changed the name of the channel, but I’ll always be Tim the Clumsy Skater. 😉 There was a poll a couple of days ago and 65 percent of 54 voters was in favour of Rolling Raptor. So that’s what it is now. 😎

Where’s the propaganda, good sir? 😊 Or is speaking out against war propaganda as well? Let’s just agree that peace is more fun than war, so that people around the world can skate without fear. Even several Russian inline skaters have been spreading that message.

@@TheRollingRaptor there is nothing wrong with a message of no war.... but having the Ukraine colours is pro Ukraine propaganda. Many people who pay close attentiin to geopolitics dont see things as simply as 'Russia bad... ukraine good' its much more complex. I just hate seeing corporations jump on the bandwagon with either rainbows or ukraine colours... it makes me want to boycott those companies.... besides the proceeds likely go to buying weapons for Ukraine (most aid does) so u are likely funding bloodshed buying these. Nothing personal I just detest this kind of stuff

@@anton8964 Fair point. A black or white skate with just a giant peace symbol on it, wouldn't that be great? Now, in this case, the profits of the skate do go to organisations that help citizens who became victims of the war in Ukraine. Since those victims and organisations are in fact Ukrainian, there is some logic in making the skate blue and yellow. Not as a sign of supporting the country or its government, but rather _the people._

I detest virtue signalling. But I honestly appreciate the idea behind this skate. And I detest the tendency to label every positive action as virtue signalling even more. It tends to lead to self-censorship. That clashes with my individualist attitude. 😉

@@riseabovelive Hey, don’t worry, no offence taken at all! I do appreciate your comment, even if I don’t necessarily agree. I believe Matthias Knoll is a sincere person and that his company adheres to certain ethical values. Of course, Powerslide _is_ a corporation and one can always question the motivation behind certain business decisions and actions, but I try to rein in my cynicism when a company does something seemingly positive. It can’t be all marketing, can it? There are still real human beings in control of those companies. People with emotions and values that also want to do good. But feel free to disagree with me on that, absolutely. 😊👍
