Tom Moyse gets into the nuts and bolts of the Powerslide Next Core 80 skate, which is the most popular inline skate in the 'Next' range. The Next can be used for Urban, city, freestyle and general all-purpose skating.
Nice video! Been using the Next a lot for the past few months and I’m having a lot of fun with them. My favourite right now is the 4x80 but they work great with all wheel sizes up to 125mm 🔥🔥🔥
1:08 that is one of my subscribers MR BRED and BUTTER lmao!! Tom Strikes again and incorporates another thing from my life and uses it as a meme. And again its something not everyone is on at the moment. Tom we're connected. Through more than blading. We might be eskimo bros.
@@BREDNBUTTER get this. LOCO international company ships everywhere. They sent out skates to the studio for the Barbie movie... only 22 thousand subs... BredNButter sneakers... shoes... 15 thousand. Loco has been around on here since 07!!! BRED.... 2020. BLADING IS TO NICHE STILL!!!
@@kevincollins8620 I love the facts!!! It’s funny, I haven’t been on rollerblades since the skating rink in the 90s. I remember Michael Jackson’s “black or white” was big and always playing at that time. 😂 but anyhow, I watched this entire video and enjoyed it, even though I know absolutely NOTHING about rollerblading. 😂 thanks again for letting me know I made an appearance! Enjoy the 4th Kevin!
great review Tom! the problem with 80mm wheels it that they not keep the speed as good as 110/125mm, specially on bad concrete they struggle a lot. So IMO if you want to go smooth and fast on urban terrains, you need triskates !!
I ride on 80mm NYC streets for miles. You can get used to anything if you skate long enough. I do agree that for speed triskates would leave me in the dust though.
@@darkoale3299 Agree! I also got used to it at the beginning but you need to push a lot for the same results 🤣and sometimes the slow down from bad terrain cannot be compensated because there are vehicules nearby and is not possible to push properly
worse skates i've ever had, shattered 2 sets of shells in less than 6 months, just rolling a small pump track. powerslide did replace the first set, not the second. major design flaw in the front structure of the shell. 30 years of skating only shells to break on me.
