Loving it! Tie the normally closed fuel blocking valve to the brake pedal circuit. You hit the brakes it shuts down at the same time. Braking with thrust will be a real bad deal and your instinct would be the mash the brake pedal in an oh crap moment. Check the fuel requirements, not many automotive pumps can meet the flow and pressure requirements to reach full thrust. Keep it up man, can't wait to see where this goes!
I'm wondering if there is an electrically operated solenoid gate valve that they would get in the chemical industry, which is in the "normally closed" position when no power. That would be a good fail-safe.
