Thanks - I couldn’t order even on a waitlist on his website. I have a Fuchs Blackjack 21 that I love and has been my main gigging amp because the way it cuts through the mix and provides a great clean platform for pedals
@@58lp2002 yeah this pedal has been a great success. Andy is sourcing more of the military tube used here and will announce future batches on Facebook. Stay tuned over there for the next announcement!
Sounds a tad more raspy than a Zendrive which I like. I have an Hermida NuValve so I’m already in on weird miniature tubes, definitely want one of these. Thx for the cool demo!
I just ordered one. I have the Van Weelden Royal overdrive since many years back and this sounds somewhat sweeter (it seems so anyway). But that I’ll know when it arrives 😂
@@argbluesman Just food for thought.. The majority of folks can't afford $5,000 dollar guitar amps... My experience is 99% of the pedals out there sounds good played through high end boutique amps like a Two Rock etc.. the real test of a pedal is if it sounds good played through the average guy amp Like a Deluxe Reverb, Blues Jr .Peavey Classic 30 etc Like I said... just food for thought !
@Avatar7x7 I agree as well. But I can assure you this pedal will sound amazing through any of the amps you mentioned. On an unrelated note, that’s why I am a firm believer that the amp is the most important part of the rig. With an outstanding amp, everything else will sound great, even modest gear. It’s the most important investment we have to make for our tone. There are more affordable options than a two rock, that are upgrades from the mentioned amps and will be life long reliable tools.
@@Avatar7x7I think you have that backwards. If you have a hi fi pedal running through amp with poor components, you wouldn't be able to truly maximize not only the pedal, but everything else in the signal train.
You don’t need a 3 band eq, honestly. It’s perfect as is. Sometimes we just have some thing in mind but it’s always great to play the gear first. It works perfectly well with the pre and post overdrive tones. That’s all you need!
