It woulda came in handy early game but with shulker boxes and end chest i have all the inventory i need.

Ngl I don’t really use end chests but I can see where they come in use. Yeah the bundle is in an awkward spot though, but in my opinion it can be used with shulker boxes in harmony

Increase inventory by four slots. Add a tenth hotbar slot, since the keyboard has 10 numbers.

Im upset they changed the bundle recipe. Rabbit hide went from near useless to useful back to useless once again in the span of a few days.

I agree with you, at first I was angry too, but I mean it’s easier to craft and makes more sense early game now, without having to get a new player to chase rabbits. Maybe the fletching table will require rabbit hide????

An idea that I had was there to be an upgrade similar to a nether upgrade template, but it is found in like the end and you use it to upgrade the bundle, or maybe by using rabbit hide. Either way I think it should somehow hold more than 1 tool

In my opinion, bundles are a missed opportunity. What's the point of using an inventory slot for a bundle that can only hold one stack of items at a time? It's an unnecessarily complicated idea that would only be used in very specific situations. The only application I can think of is when your inventory is completely full, and you need to pick up an item that you don't already have in your inventory, so you could put it in the bundle and split it in the slots without exeeding the 64 items limit. But at that point, you might as well just get rid of something useless from your inventory instead of bother with opening and closing the bundle. Minecraft players have always asked for backpacks and made mods to add them. Wouldn't it have been better to simply meet this request and add a simple backpack instead of doing something different just for the sake of it?

I highly disagree, and from this comment i am gonna assume you havent done a playthrough with the modern bundles yet. The bundles are part of the item management progression system of the game. Bundles precede the ender chest and the shulker boxes. For me at least the bundle consistently makes space for 8 to 10 slots which is massive considering that is around 25% of inventory increase when exploring. When you are eventually getting to the point where you are building bigger builds you will probably have access to shulker boxes already, and combining both shulkers and bundles really makes a massive improvement to the current inventory structure. I would suggest making a new world in the pre release and you will see how great the bundles are up to reaching shulker boxes. (Which are basically the bagpack you are refering to)

I agree with you. Mojang even studied a lot of live streams and saw it saved a good amount of space at one point.
