I have a question about my Challenger… it’s a 2016 SRT 392. It was listed at the dealership as a Plum Crazy Mopar Edition; it has tons of Mopar upgrades just as you would see on the one they did…. Can you please help me understand what I have? Because from what I’ve seen, Mopar didn’t make a 2016 version… (VIDEOS OF IT ON MY CHANNEL) Thanks 🙏
As a 57 owner myself, these are the type of mods I want to do to my car nothing over the top not trying to be nothing. I’m not just a little bit more than stop and that’s perfectly fine. Great set up. Great car.
Got my hat. It’s being delivered tomorrow. That’s how my car is set up. Looks bone stock but underneath the Paxton and suspension upgrades take care of business.
You'll love the hat. I received mine about a week ago. It's using a cloth slider with a metal buckle for adjustment. That's way better than the cheap plastic snap back caps.
I have a 2010 challenger RT with the T/A hood and I just love it I can’t even say how many compliments I have received just from the hood alone it just makes it look so much meaner I love it
Great job Racer X you did an amazing job on the video and I really like how you bring your subscribers in and make them a part of your channel. People work really hard on their cars and they spend a lot of money to make them special. You give your subscribers an opportunity to show the work that they have done and the pride they take in their cars. I think that’s the uniqueness about your channel, you actually involved your subscribers. It’s not always about the hellcats and the demons it’s great how you include the RT guys and when you do videos like this, it can help the ones that are trying to modify their cars and get different ideas. So awesome job great video and I do know that a 1970 TA is a challenger and what I meant to say. I just got a little nervous in front of that camera 😂
I just picked up my dream challenger this past Friday, a 2014 R/T 100th anniversary edition and package, in the octane Red, it's got a pistol grip shifter, Mopar cold air intake, I am absolutely in love with it, it's got 40k miles on her, but you couldn't tell that from the outside or in it! Can't wait for the dreamcruise here in michigan to show it off!
Yes, I agree and the crazy thing is . They Had one for sale in Venice, Florida at a Honda dealership with only 23,000 miles on it Manuel with the sunroof which is very rare for that car for 19,000. If you want to modify it and throw a Pro charger and do some upgrades you’ll still be under what it would cost for a brand new scat pack and you’ll have a lot more fun in the potential for that car to go up with the Hearst pistol grip shifter in the TA style hood I believe is huge and also given that it was the very first Mopar edition made I think go up a lot in value in the future
Love the MOPAR edition packages. I have two already...a 11 Charger and 13 Dart to go along with my Hellcat Challenger and GoMango Dart ❤😂 The retro T/A hood is amazing on these !!!
Anthony’s customized Mopar 10 edition looks and sounds GREAT. I am in Morgan Hill, CA. I might see Tony driving thru town. Cool looking hood. Like the hunting bow shaped strut tower bar. Thanks Racer X for this 5.7 mod video.
Seen a Mopar10 Challenger for the 1st. time the day before yesterday.. white w/red stripe, American racing wheels & 2x bigger hood scoop.. look great from factory!
Now this video put a smile on my face! Racer X, I noticed the engine was sorta drowing out your voice man, that's what you want. Bad ass build Anthony and X, keep this content coming.
Nice car. I have the 2010 Mopar 10 red stripe. Love it. So many unique features and I love how it is the only true model based off the TA from 1970. Also the first ever Mopar and Dodge joint venture. ❤
If you contact Superior auto design, they will help you even if you’re not in their area they’ll order all your parts for you and get their price and ship everything to you and help you through the whole process. Those guys are great. They’ll consult with you and work with you even if you’re just ordering the parts through them which they’ll get a better price, they’re just great car enthusiast guys there
AwesomeX《☆》The 2010 looks better than the newer models & Quite a bit lighter I think. The solid Tail light across the back is a big plus for me along with the retro T/A hoodscoop. Finding one with such low mileage is a story in itself eh✌🏼😎☯️🇺🇸
I'm with you I like the older lights way better than the newer ones. Plus the light smoke spray is just right. I use it on the blinkers on my bikes to tone them down a bit, looks great
This car is all about having fun. It’s like driving a big hot wheel. It’s not like driving a hellcat or Demon and it won’t beat those cars on the drag strip but this car is a blast to drive… shifting through the gears with the hurst pistol grip shifter hearing the growl of the motor and the feel of the car driving like a beast. It’s a daily driver with the thrill of a roller coaster 👍
I love this engine! I like everything, but I want to keep mine higher with that lean forward aggressive stance. That's my "old-school" build goal!lol. I have a "22 shaker R/T. Just have to start messing with it.
Have a 22 WB shaker …and like you, I’m just counting the minutes for the warranty to expire so I start making my adjustments! The goal is a forged 426 kit, supercharged, HP90 trans, and find a way to keep the shaker scoop functional as the main air-draw for the blower
That hood scoop while not providing Ram Air does have ducting that should lower temps around the engine & it looks almost as cool as a SHAKER hood without the hassles✌️👽🌵
Why don't you do a video on all the different challenger hoods. maybe cover functionality of each (ram air, venting, room for a blower, etc.), hoods tied to specific models, historical styling cues, and OEM cost if anyone wanted to swap one out. Make for an interesting video.
There were also only 41 Red striped manuals. That's what mine is, #20 of 500. I followed this build very closely, there's a FB group for Mopar 10 owners, but there's only a few of us. Anthony, myself, and I believe 2 others
Nice seeing you do other Videos other than the Demon. I always enjoyed your older Videos better also that focused on builds. However I understand why you bought the Demon and I was looking forward to watching Videos on it but this Last Call Drama has been downer. Good Luck Racer X
Cool car. It’s not always about beating everyone on street -there will a,ways be someone faster-you just want ppl to respect your car. All my cars beat this car but I’d buy that car and drive it anyway. I love that hood scoop. I used to love when we had 2 hellcats and a 392. Now we have 3 hellcats and i miss driving the 392 -it was just fun-more balanced and they actually sound better-more muscle sounding. And driving a manual is cool on one of your vehicles.
I think this is my favorite 5.7 Chally I've seen. I'd think about putting on a wide body kit if it were me, the stripe would have to be redone but all-in-all, its a beauty.
I’m new to your Channel and absolutely love the content and knowledge you share here on your channel. If you haven’t already I’d definitely like to see you build a mopar with a 5.7l or even a new edge or SN95
I'm new to the channel but maybe get one old car one classic. Maybe you've had one and I missed out but you should do a sneaky fast classic Ford.. something not LS swapped but still classic and true to its brand. Could be Mopar could be Ford. Could be Chevy but preferably an old engine with carburetor
