The real reason dodge is in this situation is because they did not plan for the future. They lived in the now. GM and Ford and other companies saw the change coming and prepared for it. Dodge/Ram did not prepare and it caught up to them in the end.
Really disappointed in Dodge ,in the way loyal dodge people all their lives were treated in the latest Demon release ,from owning multiple muscle cars ,trucks ,hellcats and to basically be kicked in the teeth by greedy dealers and Mopar who judged who got first chance based on fame and popularity. I understand the game but most became Dodge bandwagon fans was when the hellcats came along and never supported the brand over the years with purchases that supported the brand .I will keep my cars but I don't wish to spend anymore money with dealers after the way things shook out ,hell I have bought almost half million dollars in last 7 years with dodge and no one would even entertain and reasonable offer around me on the 170 .I wish Tim well as he did give us another muscle car era and it was an awesome time to live .
I could learn to make do with the complexity and high maintenance costs,but the lack of a dip stick is unforgivable. I just don’t get why they didn’t go with the 4ltr barra turbo straight six , a well proven reliable beast of a motor with a great reputation and following. ❤️🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺. I just can’t stop thinking just who is going to be able to fix this car ,not if but when it starts failing ?
Settle down buddy . 5th gen Zl1 was out in 2010 with 550hp and 800 lbs less weight .Tim didn’t dream up high hp cars . They took it farther after the fact but it wasn’t their idea .😂
No hate but when you said it’s not a scatpack it’s kinda funny because the RT in my opinion is better in every aspect especially when compared to cost and difficulty compared to trying to build a 6.4 the 5.7 and scatpack have almost the same road time 😂 my RT has been neck and neck with the 392 srt package and Ive beat a scatpack but to each is own I got the RT because it was cheaper and heard it was better to build then the 6.4
maybe he can come to gm and give us a new camaro like we did have untill they stopped production. chevy never hype the camaro the way dodge did the challanger and charger

Wait till you see the horsepower on the new Shelby GT500 from Ford it'll blow your mind The stats are absolutely off the chain and I know this because I know the right people I won't mention their names nor would I ever mentioned their names and here's a little tidbit imagine the old TT500 with an electric motor in it except this one's going to have three and it's going to keep the exact same motor actually it may be the voodoo or maybe the coyote I'm not sure I'm thinking that they're still not 100% sure which one they're going to go with
Yeah Tim is a stand-up guy and that's just Carlos Tavares trying to mess things up and I know a lot of those guys I know Tim better than I do for sure but I have met him seems to be a stand of guy now Ralph on the other hand he's my friend I do know him I have a cell phone number and he's a heck of a guy Ralph's really great guy
I don’t think too many people are blaming Tim. People understand the EPA and the Europeans at stellantis killed off the cars. Car people should start organizing against the EPA / end the EPA.
It’s pretty obvious Stellantis wants to wipe out American cars with the Dodge Hornet Alfa Romeo rebadge? I like my V6’s and V8’s. I don’t want a six pack or EV and will take my business elsewhere. It’s pretty arrogant to think a brand alone will sell. You gotta put the product behind it. Dodge went through some weird phases till they found there stride and brought Hemi back.
This isn’t difficult to understand. I’m not sure why people are asking content creators to give an opinion on this. When the CEO has in a direction, you get on board or you get out. it’s that simple. Racer has worked in corporate America and he knows exactly what happened here as anybody that ever worked in corporate America will give you the same exact answer. This is a Monkey analysis

Unfortunately dodge doesnt honor their “warranty” for those of us without the exposure. The front sump pan design will unfortunately fail keeping the oil uptake in the green when running 9 second quarters.
Dodge will not survive. Mistake #1 was the “merger of equals” with Daimler which stopped the upward rise of Chrysler and gave us dogs like the Dodge Caliber and a drop in build quality. Mistake #2 was unnecessarily divorcing Dodge cars and Ram trucks, the trucks being the volume leader and cash cow. Mistake #3 was being absorbed by Stellantis, a newly formed holding company that has too many disparate brands and continued to starve them of development funds for new models. The Hellcat strategy was really a brilliant way to keep Dodge relevant with too little funding but it was never going to provide the volume that any mass brand needs to survive these days. Stellantis wanted Jeep and Ram and probably saw the end of Dodge and Chrysler as a real possibility from the very start of the merger.

For the 2010 Challenger they had 2 versions you could get with Furious Fuchsia paint which is close to Panther Pink, but had metal flake in it. It looks nice saw one at a car cruise a few years back. You could get the whole car in that color starting at about 34,500 and the SRT of course was more I think it was mid 50’s starting price . Pricing is insane nowadays
