Both of my dogs are rescues from the SPCA. They were abandoned from 2 different hurricanes. We do not know anything about their past. It is obvious that one was used for breeding and stuck in a cage based on her behavior. We have worked with her and she is now trusting and loves us unconditionally. My dogs are the best $150 I’ve ever spent. I will always adopt. Dogs in the shelter deserve a second chance. Someone let them down and they deserve to be loved. We did embark and one is a 100% breed. Our other dog is a mixed breed and is the sweetest 90 lb baby you will ever meet

Grammy is 100 % possible...brought tears..if you don't adopt sir, those dogs get the shot and they don't get a chance in life. I feel they deserve it. they have souls too brother.

I understand do what your heart desires. My first dog I chose was adopted, had to return him a week later after he completely destroyed my apartment. His temperament was horrible due to past ownership.

I have 6 cats and 1 black lab. All rescues. Ruby is our lab and she is 12. This will be my last dog. I’m 54 and my heart can’t take putting another one down. Dogs don’t have to be purebred to purely steal your heart. She has been my confidant, constant protector and friend. She is best friends with all 6 cats. She’s just the best. Never discount a rescue animal. ✌🏻❤️from Texas

I had a german shepherd beagle mix breed 15 years. He was a rescue and when we got him, he was so beat up. During those 15 years with us, he was the most grateful, loving, caring best friend anyone could’ve asked for. Adopting dogs is such a good thing, just gotta trust your gut when you go to an adoption shelter.

Yeah, I'm not saying don't adopt. However, if people didn't buy or support breeders then the breeds we love today wouldn't exist. Most people adopt dogs shame breeders. However, adopting shouldn't exist if there was responsible pet owners. Meaning no crossbreeding without trying to improve the breed. I have a lot to say, im just glad that you had the chance to experience the love of a fur friend!

@@poeticlamar4379 I definitely agree that if pet owners were responsible, we wouldn’t have a need for adoption. In my opinion and based on experience, pure breeds are more or a risk than mixed breeds. I had 2 pure breed beagles and the first one we had to put down because of lymphoma at 6 years old. The second one we put down because of kidney failure at 13 years old but the medical problems he faced all his life was a lot. Obviously not all pure breeds face medical problems but in my experience, that’s what I’ve seen. Ultimately, the goal is to make sure these beautiful animals get the loving caring home they deserve.

Purity is bs bc I rescued Greyhounds off the horrible racetracks and they were amazing, but the mutts I rescued were the most loyal and appreciative. My mutts took care of my fancy Greyhounds on our farm. Mutts taught those Greyhounds how to fend for themselves bc they were only raised in crates and defenseless in the country. Never disregard the mutts. They are the BEST.💔

I understand, but what happens if everyone adopts mix breeds and breeders have no were to send their puppies too. This is how animals become extinct. Adopt if you want, but don't shame purity of bloodlines. That keeps the breed existing.

Hey! I love ur reaction to video. Instead of discouraging " Mutts" to be adopted VS being EUTHANIZED without an adoption to a FOREVER HOME..please encourage "wanna be loving pet parents" your strategic way to adapt? Afterall, your pups are born NOT KNOWING HOW TO EAT, DRINK, or move. Please DO NOT discourage ANY ONE to not save a "Mutt"!. By far they have saved us more than paying for a dog. Btw, 40% of dogs in shelter are PUREBRED. ❤

Umm please do a little more research. It’s no where close to 40% of actual purebred dogs in animal shelters. It’s more like 3-5%

Mixed breeds make the best dogs I've had at least for mixed breed dogs and I have one now I cannot stand when people say bad stuff about mixed breed dogs but seeing that you're selling purebred dogs that's probably why you said that I will take a mixed breed over any full-blooded dog any day now if I a full-blooded dog needed a home I would take it in don't say bad things about mixed breeds all dogs are beautiful

I’ve had mixed breeds before. Actually all my life until I got grown. If humans didn’t allow dogs to breed outside their breed a lot of breeds wouldn’t go extinct or wouldn’t be endangered. This is my reasoning for not preferring mixed breeds. No animal puppy should die but if animals didn’t breed with their breed then a lot of what we love and care about today wouldn’t exist.

Lol technically it cost $200 for me to get from shelter and over $3k in damages. So that’s the most I’ve spent on a dog. $3200 is crazy when you can pay a reputable breeder and for less than half the cost and eliminate a lot of other potential issues. But I don’t knock people who adopt and I don’t knock good breeders. I don’t like people who think because they adopt they are doing the world a service. You’re not. Say NO to puppy mills and breeders who practice known bad breeding.
