I lost all of my grandparents. I would give anything just to hear their voice one more time. Call your grandparents every chance you get because one day they will be gone.

Man….I literally WATCHED my grandma take her final breath. We were all there sitting next to her on Thanksgiving. She was in home hospice. Its a moment that lingers and haunts me bro. I saw her spirit leave her body and it really did f me up….

I was raised by my grandparents, my mother died when i was a year old and my father was a long haul trucker. My grandfather was my hero went everywhere with him like a little shadow. I'm 70yrs old and still miss them everyday. Lost my father 18yrs ago time goes to fast.

Scotty won American Idol in 2011. He auditioned at age 16 & was 17 when he won. Like Carrie Underwood, he is very successful. Lots of great music. I love one of his newer songs, 'It matters to her'. 'This is it' is about his wedding & the clips are so lovely. another beautiful song with video. Highly recommend.

Wait till you have kids. The time starts really flying. My oldest turns 9 this year and I feel like yesterday I was rocking her to sleep. I’ve been with my wife for 20 years and her grandma has been around the whole time. When we lose her I’m going to feel like I’m losing my own grandma. She calls every year and sings me happy birthday. This year I let it go to voicemail so I could get it saved.

He also wrote a Christmas song when his grandfather passed called I wonder what Christmas in Heaven is like. It's an amazingly beautiful song. Scotty is a dad now too, so these songs mean even more to him.
