@@Microphunktv-jb3kj forged in a simple explanation is a way to strengthen the engine components so that they can withstand more power and torque than they actually can 👍

​@@CCMotorizedWe have 2 Golfs in family. My former Golf GT R-Line MK6 is owned by parents, GT model only have 1.4 litre & 160 hp wth super tiny airbox n some sucky combo of supercharger. After that we kept it, dad owns it n is happy wth it. Looks awesome in deep black pearl tho. That was ordered 2012 fr VW factory. Then in 2017 i bought the Golf GTI Clubsport MK7 also speced from factory. Its Stage 1 with is38, on a custom turbo back: Invidia dp on sportcat, and cobra sport nonres catback: That combo Sounds bl**dy marvelous on the deep end! Anyway, would be cool to compare to yours as ithink it shud be pushing 380 hp as well. I still think u may be faster as ur Stage 3 though, + aton of breathing pipe work! 😂 But yeah its a MK7 though. Anyway total props & credits for an amazing build & dedication V-Dub brother! Beautiful Work! ☺️ 👍

how has reliability been over 3 years?

dont go stage 3 reliability goes to shit and u have a ton of turbo lag

i have a stage 3 mk6 gti and its not fun to drive anymore

question what mods you have for stage 2? I have read just going aftermarket dp only is okay but wondering if I should be worried about any other mods for stage 2

@@luketexas intake and exhaust would help but i dont think u need anything other than an intake for stage 2

Mine is stage 2 and i want to go stage 3 aswell now that i got used to the current horses XD But i'm doing cosmetic work first and i need to get a daily becouse stage 3 daily with short commutes wont do the engine any good XD

Has to be throwing 18149 code, clutch pressure adaptation at it's limit.

These engines can handle up to 400 no problem

could’ve got on with a tcu tune if he didn’t already put the clutch packs through abuse, hpa stage 3 is good up to 400-450ish tq

How is the sound with a downpipe? I'm debating getting one with 200cel cat (needed for MOT) but they are pretty expensive. I just fitted Passat control arms (aluminium) and S3 bushings. Made a lot of difference and the unsprung weight is noticeable. If I want other springs/coils I will go for the KW variant 1.

the sound is more pronounced and is better overall. I got a X-Force downpipe ( I am in NZ ) and when it was on the dyno the HP rating was about 15hp

It's a misconception, I thought I'd hate DSG, ended up loving it and the farts, videos don't do them justice in regards to feel/sounds etc

@@pb3382 you are so stupid you don't even realize you already proved my point in why I am not wasting my time on proving what cars I have because no matter what I do you will always come up with an excuse, in this case the excuse I expected, that they ain't mine so whats the point? Even than I don't feel the need to prove what I drive or have driven. I had more than 30 cars, last 2 years alone 5, a TT, S204 AMG, lotus s2 and the rs3 and cayman that I still have. Don't be so butthurt because of a comment, a comment thats 100% truth, that fwd cars having more than 300bhp is stupid. Can't put it to the ground, you can have 600hp, you will only put half down anyway so yeah in that sense it's just wast of money.
