For those who don't catch it in the video - Bakris is *rumored* to be getting buffed next season, increasing it's damage boost from 10% to 25%, although it will no longer stack with surges. We'll have to wait and see the specifics, but this exact build will get even stronger in Season 21.
@metalphoenixgaming2978 you have to upgrade the energy level on your armor using materials, the max energy on a piece of armor is 10. the more energy your armor on the more perks you will be able to fit on the armor
Great video! Consider using Terminal Horizon (the LMG from Spire) or Chain of Command instead of Hothead in non-raid setups. Machine Guns currently have near-infinite ammo when using double special loadouts.
feel like whisper of rime is bit overkill, instead i might try using conduction which gives +10 for resil and int and it grabs the stasis shard to us. m sure this will help a lot in next season too as we get armor charges with this. something to think about. so far loving this build. thanks a lot. i also feel like this build will super great next season with arc/stasis seasonal mods.. right now its eating lot of 3 point armor slots :(
You are still getting a buff from Bakris on Agers - Bakris gives you bonus damage to Arc weapons and also to any weapon vs slowed combatants. Since Agers applies slow to enemies nearby any enemy you kill, you are probably naturally getting that buff on Agers sometimes when you proc Light Shift. So this is probably slight nerf there. Having said that though, it'll overall be a buff because you'll be able to use the stasis shards to grant Armor Charge to supply Stasis Surge for Agers and then Light Shift when you need to use your heavy weapon for DPS for a beefy 25% buff which is really solid. Basically add clear with a 17% buffed Agers and then Light Shift to hit chunky targets with a 25% buffed Hothead, Wendigo or whatever. Should be an interesting buff.
Exactly, it's both a slight nerf and a buff. Those stasis surges won't stack with that slow damage boost from Bakris, but overall it ends up being a more consistent damage boost to all of the weapons in your loadout. What we don't know is how the buffed 25% increase will be split. Will it be 25% to Arc damage, and then another 25% against slowed targets as well? Or will it be a 12.5% increase for both? Have to wait for the exact wording on that one.
@@GreyGamingGG Good point! I didn't think of that. Right now it's 10% and 10%. 25% times two would be nutty... You'd just have to throw a duskfield down on a boss/major/champion or hit them with a shuriken and then Light Shift and pull out Hothead for an immediate 56% damage buff since they'd stack multiplicatively.
This build worked for a day for me, I would get duskfields every 3 seconds once the crystal was destroyed and when it wasn’t it was still around 10 seconds, now a day has passed and now even destroying the crystal it takes around 23 seconds
You have a great way of showing the mods. Thanks for that! Could you review raiden flux? All content creators either focus on liars handshake or asssasins cowl when it comes to arcstrider, but they dont seem to realise that the arcstrider super is so powerful it overcomes the downsides of using either of the other exotics.
Finally glad to see mask of bakris get some love, my very first build I’ve ever made was this season. Having access to all mods inspired me to try and learn instead of relying on yt, and it was a stasis hunter mask of bakris build, using the new exotic bow, it shreds.
Can you show a vid of this build on dps for bosses, you could show variants with tractor, then trac and well and so on because I wanna make this build but idk how good dps is
the bakris buff is either gonna bring this exotic to heights capable of challenging starfire warlock now with izy rocket or its gonna completely ruin it depending on if the 10% to 25% is for both the arc weapon damage buff and the slow debuff. if its just for 1 and not both then the exotic is just completely nerfed. Right now with 3 arc surges and both buffs from bakris you can get a 42% damage buff but after its changes if both the arc buff and debuff get boosted to 25% then the new max damage buff will be 50%. Sure bakris is harder to refresh than surges but with some smart build crafting we might be looking at a new secret meta for hunters here so whatever you do if the buff is good don't tell anyone and enjoy its overwhelming power in secret XD Math if anyones curious: Season 20 Max damage buff - 10% (Bakris arc buff) + 10% (Bakris slow debuff) + 22% (3 arc weapon surges) = 42% total damage buff Potential Season 21 Max damage buff - 25% (Bakris arc buff) + 25% (Bakris slow debuff) = 50% total damage buff Both stack with well / bubble, teather / debuff and basically every other buff other than surges in season 21
Honestly I'm having to much fun suspending enemy's with my Shackle grenades an then nuking them with my Super Needle Storm. Plus with Thread lings Power with grenade build fire everything you got leave none standing. Almost forgot warlock's are AC-130 Gunships packed to the brimmed with the most devastating ad clearing weapons in the history of destiny 2 stage..
To be honest, any hunter who uses shatterdive often will have a hard time running stasis without it. It’s just way too much fun to skate around. Skip the ice shards aspect and replace it with shatter dive
Hey, grey, Late comment but I was wondering what does survivability looks like on this build? Especially contents where the fights take place in a small area. I'm used to playing with invisibility as a clutch and want to move away from it.
Honestly, it's not bad here. You have extra damage resist from whisper of chains near frozen targets or crystals, on top of tier 10 resil. You also have your stasis shards giving you healing and overshields as well. Not as safe as invis, but not bad at all, especially with the amount of crowd control here. Stasis still needs a little love imo, but it can be strong when played right.
Honestly pretty well. I ran this through RoN yesterday with no issues, (has great burst damage potential on bosses) For GMs you may want to swap your weapons around depending on the particular GM, but stasis basically shuts down all champions these days and is definitely solid crowd control.
There are 3 settings, Auto Melee, Uncharged Melee, and Charged Melee. Most people actually *prefer* their charged and uncharged to be on the same keybind, with auto melee somewhere else. So that you always throw a shuriken regardless of range. But you can still accomplish the opposite, just make sure you don't have auto melee on the same keybind as uncharged melee.
@@GreyGamingGG And then you added your own depth-of-field and motion blur xD look at the frames in the first second of the video, looks quite blurry to me XD btw not saying that you did bad I appreciate your effort of putting more spice in your video they just give me headaches due to my hypersensitivity so ya know, preference thing!
@@GreyGamingGG This is actually good because all our mods can be focused on getting our abilities down even more - so the armor charges can be spent on grenade/utility kickstart and stuff like font of wisdom
That too, it's really what you want to do at that point. I love having consistent buffed sustain damage from Agers, and then being able to burst hard with Arc weapons via Bakris. Wanted to make the build less one dimensional that way.
@@GreyGamingGG I thought so & figured I would ask just to make sure. I didn’t know about Abyssinian Gold on the cloak though. I appreciate you & your content! 👊
