"Superintendent Ryan Walters isn’t just talking about buying Bibles for schools.
Bids opened Monday for a contract to supply the state Department of Education with 55,000 Bibles. According to the bid documents, vendors must meet certain specifications: Bibles must be the King James Version; must contain the Old and New Testaments; must include copies of the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and must be bound in leather or leather-like material."

They copied some of the books of the Bible (left some out) but that wasn’t enough some of the text in the books they chose wasn’t to their liking so they simply changed it to read whatever they wanted it to read, they know this so they know not to follow it but they want you to so we can stay divided

If I lived in that state I would have easily put up a fuss for the state putting in my students classrooms a book that contains all manners of vulgarity. The Bible has incest, drunkenness, violent murders, rape, slavery, and those are just the first few to pop into my head. Does that state ban books that are inappropriate for children, because this is a new one that should be added to the list.

Im sorry, everyone, but i have a really bad problem with Bibles in school. Especially a trump bible. Go to the book store, and you could easily buy a Bible much less than $60. The bible is meant for church, and the comfort of your own home teachings. People having faith in god and jesus, i have respect for. If it helps them get through their days in life, thats great. The problem i have is the bible was man made, man written, man interpreted. And which religion is the true religion? Every denomination has a version of their bible. The bible is not factual. It's centuries old, versions of mens views. As a youth, for tens years, i was required by my parents to go to bible study after school every Wednesday, required to attend sunday school and attend church with my brother and sister without my parents. I had so many questions that no one never or could answer. Adam & Eve were created by god. They had children, their children had children. So the bible teaches incest! ! We are all descendants of Adam and Eve. It does not make any sense.

I’ve got no issue with bibles in classrooms.. so long as the Quran, Tora, Vedas and all the other religious text are given as well and taught from a scitneific aspect. NOT teachings from the Bible or any other text for that matter

There's very few of those other religions followers in that state, it's primarily Christian. But let's say there's a particular school that has mostly Jews or Muslims, then sure why not? I'm sure somebody will donate a Torah or a Quran etc.
