Come to Historic!! Aggro is present there -but not as terrible as in Standard-, and your awesome deckbuilding abilities would build wonders there, with all the cards at your disposal.
Swayze: I love the direction the meta is heading with this new set! Also Swayze: the meta is not super great 😂😂😂 Also, anyone notice that Swayze put out an Abzan build claiming to destroy the meta a couple days ago, then put out a video saying how strong aggro is, and now this video showing him beat the same aggro deck that was OP? Classic Swayze logic!
I like watching you play, and the decks you come up with, but, I don't even play best of 1. I really only play best of 3 in paper. Ashlizzle and Jim Davis both do best of 3, and they seem to be doing well. I'm sure you'll do fine featuring best of 3.

So someone that is getting into this. My question is how do you build a deck base off the starter deck? Do you purchase or how can we upgrade the starter decks?
Play each of the starter decks and get a feel for how they play. Some of them are better than others. There was a werewolf recon when I first started on Arena and I had a limited collection. It made it pretty easy to upgrade that deck which helped me farm gold.
Play what you want, sir. Anyone that tells you to do differently is based on their preference and not necessarily what's best for you. Have fun and cheers either way!
Maybe each vid you can include 1 game as best of 3 and discuss sideboard theory since many of us willing to turn to bo3 need that thought process too regarding how to turn our bo1 decks into bo3.. just an idea
Swayze I hate to tell you but BO3 is getting overrun by this aggro mess also, pretty sure a Layline aggro deck not only won but took 2nd in the most recent BO3 tournament....I just noticed something in that first game, if you "blink" a room you can keep unlocking doors over and over....You should make a room blink deck
Idk man midrange imo/observation is the value game in removal AND spells. Got to adjust to the meta like any other season you already know. Give bo3 a shot! Might bring more people to it. Anyway, again imo, I would rather play against hyper aggro compared to the old mono U djinn or atraxa/domain piles lol
So as a long time lurker I say try bo3. I think if you show 2 maybe 3 games with how you board and why is more interesting and you are way more free to play brews bc you can just tech your side so itmakes aggro harder after game one. Just thoughts, thanks for all the vids...
