My opinion; electric trimmer options aren’t quite there yet, I’ll jump on board if we get next gen batteries in the next couple years. Until then, I don’t mind swinging around the ole gas one. The maintenance really isn’t that bad for gas if you have a couple tools and some basic mechanical know how. Noise thing ain’t a deal breaker for me, get my ear muffs on and I’m in my own little world as I go about trimming.

I’m exactly the same way, I’m not switching to battery and making that investment I’m totally happy with the extra power I get from gas

But just to be clear have you tried the best electric options out there? I’m not saying they are necessarily better but I run a lawn care business and every tool I have except my zero turn is electric in for the smaller tools like your string trimmer I do believe that the electric is equal to its gas kind of hard and I for an echo and stihl

@@TristenHernandez Good to hear! You’re saving the planet, too! I’m looking for electric and battery powered tools because I have a 1950’s house on a big lot, and I take care if everything inside and out by myself (Im in my 60’s, single and very tiny, so it’s hard!) Any recommendations? Thanks!!

So nice just to charge a battery and put it on the tool and your done almost zero maintenance.

@@Nordrawit's cheaper to just buy a different tool that has a battery then you can use it in your other tools. Never buy a battery buy it's self

I have this string trimmer, and while I do like it, it is a light duty trimmer. I will not cut what my echo will. Mainly my wife uses this one, and I get the tough jobs with the echo. I have most of the greenworks line up, and I do like them, but no they aren't up to the big jobs. The new synthetic fuel is awesome and fixes all the issues with starting, and storage. And no the don't cost 70 a gallon, they cost 20 bucks and less.

@@Toolsinaction You must not be cutting really thick brush ever. It is great around the house where things are kept up, but it just won't handle the tough jobs. I still love my greenworks stuff, but it can't replace the gas on big jobs. I have the chainsaw, pole saw, pole trimmer, regular trimmer, string trimmer, and lawn mower.

EGO I like the line loader much better. I HATED loading line on my string trimmer, now I look forward to running out of line!
