It's beautiful, but is there a reason homes need to be this large? I mean, the West claims it's tough to build smaller homes because of material and labor costs don't justify those sorts of build... apparently builders wouldn't make much money. In Africa, the costs are such that smaller homes can be built, more people can afford to live in them, and builders can make a profit. So why not build affordable homes, more of them, turn a nice profit and make home ownership more accessible to everyone on the continent?

The private sector can't build affordable homes,only the government can.the reason being 80% of all the building materials are imported.

Great point! The average African can't afford these homes, we don't have mortgage as in the west. The sadder part is, even if the houses were buiIt to haIf/quarter of the size, it stiII won't be affordabIe to the average African, so the deveIopers figured they might as weII buiId for the 10 percent that can afford it and pay cash immediateIy. The weaIth gap is onIy getting wider and wider, and reaI estate home show videos as these just reminds me how Iarge the gap is.

Nice House, but No Elevator/Lift 2 Access d Master Bedroom,No Fire Alarm system,No Swimmingpool,forgetting that Africa is hot,No place for children 2 Play. For a 450,000 Dollars, you need to Put in an Elevator/lift.. at old age, the owner cannot Access the upper Floor anymore without a Lift/Elevator..! Without a Lift/ Elevator a price of 385,000 Dollars will be fair Price, besides,the House is sitting on only a Half Plot of Land...why 🤔🤔🤔 ??
