I now own a house…bought with a 30% down payment that was a small part of the interest I’ve earned off my investments……my investments are now making me more money in one week than I use to make in a month of working! I’m no millionaire but I’ve been able to happily retire!My freezer currently is so full of steaks and chicken that I can hardly close the freezer door….under Trump I wondered if I’d ever taste steak again! I have bought a gorgeous house in a gorgeous area! Hell yes! I’m a thousand percent better now than I was four years ago! ( and I have even got plenty toilet paper!)
@@hunternedib1119 doesn’t matter. I’m paying extra on the principal every month and will recast the mortgage yearly that way I’ll have it paid off early and save thousands on the interest. Recasting in my case is better than refinancing because that way I can put the money I’d pay in refinancing fees directly into the principal. The more you can put into the principal the earlier in the loan the more interest you save. I’ll have the principal paid off in less than 10 years.

Prices are coming down, we are drilling more oil than we ever have and more than any other country in the world. In 2023 we produced 1035 BILLION cubic meters of natural gas. The Fed had raised interest rates to cool things down, the economy was just way too hot, coming off of Covid and the supply chain issues, causing prices to rise. We have cooled enough to be able to begin bringing rates down. Lets see what happens with Donnie throws on his tariffs OR he won't and he knows he can stoke the bear by talking about tariffs. There have been billions of dollars of student loan relief. There are infrastructure projects everywhere, my state alone has received mayn millions of dollars for energy production, research and development, education, and just the other day 275 million dollars to improve a heavily used part of HW 80 and it goes through our city. All this through the Inflation Reduction Act the same act that 99.9% of the Repugs voted against and are now running on. Tell me what other country could a kid quit Harvard, gather a few hippies, work in his garage and come up with Microsoft. Steve Jobs developed Apple. My 401k says hell no! It did by far better under Trump. My stocks, bonds did better under Trump, Hell my whole financuals were better under Trump. My wife lost 20k in her stocks since Biden took over.
