What primer did you use? I like the upside down power strip. Horizontal outlets in a metalshop can be scary when pieces of sheetmetal slide down into the slight space between the plug and outlet and contact.
I'll have to check next time I'm in the shop, but it was just basic primer. One trick for the sheetmetal thing is putting in the outlets upside down, so any conductor falling in will first hit the ground pin. Except then the outlet looks wrong, which I've yet to reprogram myself away from thinking.
