This technique makes Captain Brineybeard's boss fight easy! 

As a player that doesn’t own dlc, this is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen

I’ve already S ranked him but thank you for this tip! You can do a similar in The howling aces, when the dog bowls are near you just dodge roll or smoke dash. But the plane needs to be on either side of the screen

You can also crouch by the pole in front of the ship and not get hit by any of the bullets, therefore not needing to roll or dash

THE TWIST-UP IS FINALLY USEFUL!!

When you realize some people don’t have the DLC

You can also do it with round about and I did discover this tip.

If you go into the corner on the opposite side of the map and use track shot, it basically gives you the exact same results

I think it's hella easy if you use Chalice. Just make sure so have Shield Pal and keep parrying the pink stuff the octopus launches and you'll keep on filling your super meter.

In the normal difficulty you can you roundabout and just sit on the other side of the screen, you also have to dodge the chest but that’s ez.

I did a similar thing, only using crackshot, and in a spot there was no need to dodge the fireballs at all

I found this out too except I was using the crack shot instead of the twist up and only using crack shot.

well...the "twisted up" shot is now not useless

I love this map

There is a sweet spot where none of the projectiles hit (exept the barrel but idc smoke through him)

Same could be done with crack shot and chaser tho

I've been playing this game for over a year and haven't been able to beat that first boss that's the daisy thing

yes capiten brine bierd is one of the most ez bosses boss with this tip its easier than root pack

If you have the dlc us chalice and twisted up but if you don’t have the dlc us smoke bomb and chaser

hes already one of the easiest bosses in the game without glitches. but he ways has some of the most cheats that a boss has. easiest s by far

I used to do something similar but in the first phase. I’d run up to the ship and spam whatever weapon I’m using. When he’d pull out his pink octopus, I just smoke dash through each bullet so I can keep doing max dam. But I’ll try this too.
