A while ago I stumbled onto a technique that helped me a couple of times to shoot a little better under pressure. It also helped me aim better in the wind. This might be worth your while to test and see if it makes a positive difference. I also discovered I am not the only one using this grip technique, it is also apparently used by some pros. I am not sure about it but according to my testing it can help you in some situations or maybe all the time .

I was asking myself the same questions about hand grip. I never had a real answer on this one. I will defenitly try that on my next practice

Thank you! This definitely works! Placing your fingers against the front of the riser will also help with grip consistency.

Very interesting. Definitely seems to help with holding an object steadier. Gonna have to test while shooting and see how my groups compare.

Yes its always good to test. I am also currently gripping it lighter than usual as my new Exodus aims pretty well

Yes I do that I just let my fingers rest on the back of the grip slightly and it keeps me from slapping the grip on the shot

Maybe bows back in the day was different, I always shot with an open palm between index and thumb. I shot numerous tournaments and won a couple of state tournaments. Maybe times and equipment has changed tremendously

It might have a similar result because of the slight tension that is created by holding the hand open. Yes the bows are different too. They torque a lot easier these days. But its not such a huge deal like people make out sometimes
