Sawadika…. (Hello in Thaï !!!). I have been following your travels since the beginning and just LOVE what you are doing! I had sold my house and belongings 3 years before COVID hit, took sabbatical years off of my 20 year teaching job and travelled through Asia and parts of Europe. My 2 main home bases throughout those years were Mykonos in Greece and Koh Phangan. And just LOVED it! I have never been to the Full Moon Party because there was so much to do other than that. It is truly a wonderful place to live!!! I had returned and stayed in Canada throughout COVID and just sold another house and am getting to leave, travel and work online where ever life brings us. The only place I wanted to go to and didn’t, was Bali. So I think I should start there and see…. But Koh Phangan is WOW!!! I would love to hear if Bali is worth it in your opinion…. You need to drop in and see some of my friends in Koh Phangan!!! Valerie (from Canada, is now owner of Kilo.Koh Phangan!!! She is AMAZING and doing great things on the island, since she has moved there more than 10 years ago!!! Notably - saving dogs (Mandy would connect with here on that level.) and running TRASH HEROES. She is a great person that understands life there and could give you insight on what life could be like for you there. There are also my friends at Loccospizzabar! If you go, talk with Suzie and Pedro!!! Also fantastic people. Enjoy the rest of your journey to finding your home. When I was travelling, I said I was looking for my “X” spot …. So I understand how you feel. Safe and happy travels. Hope our paths will cross once we are back out exploring the world once again. Big hugs !!!

I have been following your videos since you’re in Thailand and what attracted me into your videos, besides those things you do, is Mandy’s personality 😊 Mandy seems so nice and always cheerful and grateful with all the laughs, smiles and being really optimistic in all these videos I love it so much even all the dogs love Mandy! 😂 Thank you for making the video about Thailand, especially this one, most of tourist destinations in our country turned to be so lonely these days, what worse is people had to shut their business, some couldnot make it through during COVID-19 time. It’s so sad and that’s why what you both have done is so worthy! Wish you have good days all along the trips of yours and don’t forget stay safe and healthy 🤗

I loved my time in Koh Phangan a few years prior to Covid halting the world. I stayed in an amazing bungalow right on the beach. Unfortunately I underestimated this Island and only stayed for a couple of nights. I was never interested in the Full Moon Party scene, that did not draw me there and possibly turned me off booking more time there before I left Australia. I intend to go back one day as I didn't get to explore the island or the waterfalls.

Oh !!!! Mandy 🐶 🐕…. 🥰I’m a massive dog lover too ! So was my Mum. Dogs are SO intuitive 👌 Dogs sense They feel & sense “energy” so deeply , they pick up on our vibrations. It sounds wacky but it’s true. Dogs are amazing animals. Truly amazing 🤩 Horses are pretty great too. You are so gorgeous, your energy is so gentle it comes across in your videos. The footage & editing is just getting better and better. Lloyd seems like a rock 👌 A solid rock. Great traveller too. He seems to have has his wits about him. Doin’ the Aussie blokes proud 👍 Loving your choice of music guys too ! Keep on keeping on , Koh Phangan 😎🙌🙌🙌

I enjoyed watching your videos in Vietnam, but no place is like Thailand. Like someone here said, Thailand just has its own unique energy and vibe! I travelled Thailand multiple times during the 1990s and had my shares of parties, but the memories of peoples that I met and places that I’ve been to made Thailand a complete experience.

You both are a nice yin and Yang. Lloyd is kinda dry and not a lot of emotion and Mandy is just oozing emotion and personality. What a great combo. Lots of people seem to want to move after visiting. I go for the first time this week and I was wondering about the weather because it looks like it’s raining every day. I lost says cloudy every day so I was worried.

Thailand has so many places for a good staycation. From islands and beaches to mountains and rivers. You guys should try staying at the raft house in Kanchanaburi or go on a nature respite at Khao Yai they have national parks and night safari there 😃.

You're right I have always considered Koh Phangan as the party island - my daughter went there once and hated it. Some of that drone footage was excellent - especially of the waterfall. A thing 'blowout' is the worst it never happens at a convenient time - they can only be repaired so much - think the plastic seal on a loaf of bread. I'll be back in Thailand in late July for two months Bangkok, Hua Hin and Koh Samui - may now consider Kohn Phangan.

Koh Phangan is busy right for this time of year... Obviously you werent at a full moon time, thats why you didnt experienced the crowd. But I would say thats a rather busy vibe for Phangan at this time of year and out of full moon party. Phangan dealt with Covid pretty well compared to other islands or places. Enjoy our home island. 1Love

The rain falls mainly in November and December…….the rest of the time is not monsoon time. Not a good idea to go barefoot, you visited the HalfMoon venue……stopped using it 2 years back…….the island sleeps except when it’s full moon party time , the island has taken on a new persona, lots of people getting on with doing their own thing! Glad you visited , to experience what the island has you will need to spend 4 weeks meeting the locals who have lots of love to share!

Surprised you didn’t stay on the western side of the island, I much prefer it, for a short stay at least. Especially liked Zen Beach and Malibu beach, also did you checkout Koh Ma Phangan where the sand bank is, the snorkelling there is just amazing, then there is Bottle Beach 🏖 and the climb up to the viewpoint. More reasons to love this island!

Loved our stay in Koh Phangan in 2019. It was half moon party time which is held in land in the coconut groves. We stayed at Haad Rin then and the vendors and restaurants were saying how quiet it was. I was devastated to see the restaurants on the beach closed up and in disrepair. The white one was where we had our first meal. I saw you swimming in the beach there . Different when we were there the waves were so rough and crazy we went around the corner to Rin Nai Beach . So calm and great sunset

Theres lots of expats in Ko Somoi that are you tubers. Lilly is American married to Thai guy. It's like all the the you tubers I follow all go to same places. It's getting kind of boring. There are other places to see besides Asia
