I would love to see modmic as a full headset with the same quality of mic, they'd break the market surely. Finally streamers could have a real choice between a headset mic and a studio mic
@@BootSequence I was quite intrigued by your interference issue but I haven't had the same. I've used the mic in my room which doesn't have as much wireless devices as yours.
I love my Modmic wireless. I can use whichever cans I want without another cable or worrying about how I sound. I have even flipped it up out of the way and forgot to bring it back down on occasions. Usually no one noticed/comments and I find out when I go to turn it off
@@Silverhks Right on brother. Was just curious in case the battery died if I could just plug it in and keep using it so I could keep communicating. Appreciate it.
I think the problem is the dogs. I have 3 small dogs and they are the worst as you can imagine. I bought “barking collars” and that solved the issue. Also, we closed the door to one of the rooms where they had access to a window. It’s peace and quiet around the room now. You can also try sound insulating the door and underneath the door to reduce noise.
Is this the first review you have done on your channel? I haven't seen one before? Very good review though. Camera work was great. Information/comparissons presented well. Keep up the great work!
Headphone/headset manufacturers should just start using better microphones in the fist place. The cost of producing a separate "ModMic" is probably a lot higher than when manufacturers would integrate a good mic into their headphones/headsets.
I use a Suptek monitor mount because I have two 27' monitors stacked for two PC's. I ran a usb cable up to the top of the mounting pole and plug my (Razer) wireless dongle in there. I can walk pretty much anywhere in the house and still have connection. I hate cables.
Here's a tidbit - OBS has a noise canceling filter for mic input that is amazing. Assuming voice banana lets you use your OBS mic filter as an output then most basic headset mics will sound better with removal of background noise (it's a mic input filter called RNNoise)
If you have an RTX graphics card just use Nvidia Broadcaster's noise canceling. No background noise. For. Improved EQ use VoiceMeter as well. Much improves the fullness.
This reminds me of my hunt for a bluetooth headset for phone calls. Most microphones were atrocious. Out of hundreds, only 2 had a microphone worth a darn when listening to recordings. Unfortunately, it seems the "gaming" branding for electronics now seems to be synonymous with poor quality and high price for asthetics at most.
Did rtx voice just get dumped like Phsyx? Thought it was supposed to be the next big thing in streaming/chat Gota say daaaaaamn the production Quality is insane it was always good but this seems to me at least on another level keep up the great work 👍.
Hey Snows a couple of thoughts .... #1 did you try to see how far you could Get from the receiver and it still worked every Bluetooth 4.8-5.2 I own goes at least 30-100 feet & does not need Line of sight to work. As for the MOD Mic they could could make 2 Versions, #1 the "Standard Version" with what you showed ...EXCEPT that usb type B bullshit needs to GO.... Type C Mod MIC DAM get in to 2022 already !! #2 Version of MOD MIC could sell as "Pro or Deluxe Version" with all the Extras things you mentioned for say another 10-15 bucks extra.... Except the Type C usb That needs to be on ALL Versions Period !! Also I would Love to see MODMIC work with AMD and there Noise Suppression software so we could have the BEST of Both worlds & last An All White Version !!
