I'd take this Segway over any of the other expensive scooters on the market. Sure its not the fastest or most powerful at this price point but I can promise that the design and build quality is far better than any other premium scooter on the market. . . by a lot. Also its plenty fast and powerful.
@@gtone339 This is a big and stable scooter. It's probably very beginner friendly. All someone has to do is start out on the slower modes as they get acclimated.
Be very careful one listening to paid RU-vidrs about product like this. Look for real people who have actually bought this with their own money for pure honest reviews
Bro thats the delaware canal bike trail and that other area is that amazon parking lot off 7. i live in Bear de. I have a Bluetran Lightning and the new Etwow GTS i take down to the canal every so often. I have a few videos on my channel. Would love to meet up. I would love a chance to ride a segway gt2. I never bought it because i have steps to get in and out of my appartment. if weight was not a factor that scooter would be #1 on my list. the 90 pound bluetran is already to heavy for me. I am only 148 pounds. lifting it up and down 6 stairs is not fun. Im actually trying to sell it. but man top speed is so impressive. got to 54 mph at the de canal a few months ago. i used a dragy.
@@MikeFede im freaking dying over here!! Dude. Im up in Old New Castle with an Apollo Phantom and have been slowly getting more and more people converted to pev’s. We just did a group ride on the canal Sunday….while it was like 100 degrees hah.
Was able to see one on a escooter meetup. Even got to try it out for a few miles. Compared to my Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro, the segway felt like the kiddy section at the amusement park.
Lol, just stop man. I now understand why all the Dualtron owners would look at me funny when I'd ask them a question about it while riding my Mantis. It's the look you give a child when they don't know any better, lol.
Cool, but if I'm dropping that kind of cash, I'm getting any number of used motorcycles that I can ride across the country instead of just buzzing around until the battery dies.
Когда ищешь комфорт и красивый дизайн и не важна скорость больше 30 миль то этот самокат то что нужно ибо не каждый день ты будешь ездить все 30 не говоря об 50 и 60
This review and the title is deceiving. When you say “in its class” that statement is vague. By “in its class” what are you defining that as? Because there are at least 5 scooters I can think of that have the same characteristics as this Segway in build, features, acceleration and top speed that are $1000.00 less. But I get it, you are probably being biased because they sent it to you for free.
You are deluding yourself if you think ANY of those cheaper scooters have comparable build quality or design. Some are actually faster and more powerful than the Segway by a bit but they pale in comparison in regards to build quality, material quality and design.
I'm not biased at all. All brands sign a contract that states that I am using my own words and will not be swayed as well as the brand can't use my video as advertisment to sell. This scooter was sent to me for free, but that doesn't buy anything for them that I wouldn't already put out. The build quality of this is way better than a lot of other brands I have ridden. I don't think this is the best scooter money can buy, I just believe from my personal time riding it and many others in it's price range and spec range that it's the fastest in it's class. Remember all the specs are relative to the rider weight and conditions. Thanks for stopping by though man :-)
Those other e scooters you mentioned cost less than Segway GT series don't have the same build quality and design as this but hey if you prefer top performing e-scooter then go for the top performer, if you want build quality w/ plenty of spare parts and services from various bike/e scooter stores then Segway-Ninebot is the way to go.
NAH , just a muscled xiaomi scooter , wit dat price point Nami Viper is still the wisest spending more superior in all aspects, even surpasses dualtron which is i think losing its charisma
For anybody who uses an electric scooter to commute, they would quickly realize how useless this piece of crap truly is compared to scooters in the same price range.
Yet every single review channel and scooter shop that has done a video on it has nothing but great things to say. You cant just compare top speed and range. This is one of the most quality and well build scooters ever released. The technology implemented is way ahead of its time. And one of the reasons its so heavy is because that's what makes it stable and safe to ride at high speeds. Other scooter in this price range look like they were put together with random parts and don't look finished. Segway actually had the money to do some real development and present a finished product that actually looks good and has features unlike any other scooter currently available. Other companies will be playing catch up.
@@evancameron8816 "look like they were put together with random parts and don't look finished." Yeah, exactly. These cheap, 60+ mph scooters look like they were made in a scrapyard. I can't imagine paying that much for a sketchy scooter. Segway is definitely the way to go.
