Yeah, it's not the tank that's OP, but the player ;-).

Have you seen the average german player base? They are usually around 30-40 % win ratios every tank is used for flanking because they are to scared to die and fight for a win instead would rather camp the redline for 15 minutes to simulate 1-2 kills lmao

That said, the tank is an excellent sniper

HEATFS was way better than Apds to Leo based on my experience and what i see☺️

Against light targets and when aiming at the roof of MBTs, sure, but thats not always the case. I'd say the APDS and HEATFS are more reliable.

It is good when you can see someones's roof or side. It is best at the distance because you can drop it upon enemies. Rangefind and shoot.

The sound is good but incredibly loud.

It's at 7.0 and better than the US counterpart, and the things that can easily penetrate the armor are mostly german tanks. in other words, it's a great tank that makes you learn how to use a proper MBT after using so many Heavy Tanks in the tech-tree, so that you'll know what to expect when using the Leopard afterwards

I did end up getting the M48A2C first, it felt alright but found myself getting uptiered for almost the entirety of the spading and without heat or aphe it was kinda painful. Fast forward to me getting the Leo; Less armor but much more agile, decent reload and smaller profile/mass. I honestly found that the Leo 1 despite the constant uptier game was much more well rounded and fun, and the use of apds forced me to aim carefully and take my time with shots. Painfully bad armor, but it’s a sniper/campy tank anyway.

@@nopoint30 Heh, remember to carry some HESH with you, those pesky light tanks are OHK with them, other than that yeah, great mobility with an excellent gun, an excellent tank for 7.7 now 7.3 Unlike the M60, that thing is a travesty

It's litterally Amazing, it gets great shells, great mobility and ok'ish armor

@hambone Mostly because most guns from 5.3 up can pen it from nearly any angle at most ranges. No HEAT or APDS required. IMHO the 7.3 T54 or even T44-100 have more advantages than the Leo.

turret armor on paper looks ok but its actually good, I bounced the long 88mm, the IS-6 shot when it hit my turret

A definite skill issue (I have more survivability in this thing than t55a)

We are using the 1660 Super, it cost about 450-500€ right now.. we bought it for 260€ when the prizes were normal so maybe wait for the prices to come down if you dont have to buy one.

They have heat, Stab, LRF all. But this thing shouldbe at 7.7
