Two days ago I was here to learn. Tonight,I just finished packing my creamy and sweet tigernut drink inside the freezer.I didn't add banana to mine. I used a little ginger. It's so nice and rich. Thank you very much.
Yaaaay 👏 so glad to hear this… I’m here for any questions now or in the future…and i will be dropping more videos on what to do and sell to make money this year and nexts to come
@ibezimmartha7066 hi 👋… you can actually do anything but because I’ve tried a lot and made mistakes just in trying to get a perfect drink with a rich taste…. I will advise you don’t …. If you want to consume immediately for personal consumption you can use the fresh tigernuts but if it’s for business then use the dry tigernuts because it will last longer and still have the same taste…. The only thing you’ve to do if it’s for business you just alter some ingredients
@lawaleniola6166 1 paint of sweet tigernuts Half derica of dates 1 coconut (optional) 2 ginger (optional) 2 pieces of Banana can be added if it will be consumed same day:..if not consumed same day skip banana totally cause it makes it spoil faster Must be kept in the freezer immediately after extracting the milk….:cause tigernut cannot stand heat at all…
Sure. Pls stay connected. I’ll be sharing a more detailed video very soon.. most especially for those who would like to go into the business or those that have tried making it but it spoils quickly….
I prefer to use the blending machine outside but go to the ones that have more than one blending machine… avoid using the one used in blending pepper so it doesn’t alter with the taste…..
Yes i did…but make sure to ask it’s not the blender for grinding pepper… go to those that have blenders for other things like tigernuts, yellow corn and the likes
Thanks for this video, my tigernut was drawing although the taste was still very ok pls wat could be the cause, figured it could be the from where l went to grind it
What were your ingredients? Wow… most likely where you blended it from…maybe the blending machine was used to blend something totally odd from tigernut… that’s why i said it’s better to go to the vendors that has 2 to 3 blending machines…. Like those that blend ogi ( pap )
Yes i sieved after blending( it’s a compulsory step) I blended using the commercial blender. For a better understanding of this step pls watch the second “TIGERNUT VIDEO” I also posted the link under this comment section for easy access.
Please, did you soak the dry Tigernut for for like some days before blending. I did one recently. Half paint of Tigernut, Half Derica of Dates and Two Coconut. I soaked Tigernut for 3 days I saw in a video. Thank God I kept majority of the filled bottles in the freezer, cus the one I kept in the fridge Fermented that same day under few hours and spoilt. I didn’t know what part I did wrong. Please help
No I don’t soak my tigernuts at all… the coconut was way too much for the measurements of tigernuts.. And when you soak, you have started the fermentation process by soaking it so no how it’s not going to spoil except consumed immediately…. I uploaded a second video of making tigernuts and gave reasons why it shouldn’t be soaked and also right measurements, I pinned the link to the second part in this comment section… pls check for the pinned link then you can really understand why it shouldn’t be soaked and if you still need any help or have questions, I’m here for you 😀
Posting a second video on 17/05/24 This video will be answering so many questions that was asked here and will show everything that i skipped unintentionally in the first video( like the extraction part)
Oh so sorry about that…the fresh one will always spoil,…you should check the second part of my tigernut video…. The link is pinned in this comment section….
You are welcome…. I’m working on an extensive version of this… I will drop the video by end of this month… pls check back by then… I’ll also pin the link of the extended video in this comment box for easy access….
Well for me i didn’t add water after blending because i prefer mine creamy and not watery but you can probably add more water and it’s still gonna be okay… but i already have customers i deliver to even though others think it’s pricey…. You might need to add a little water so you can make a gain from it if it’s for business purpose….
I will do an extensive video on tigernut drink in some days time……for the benefit of those who want to turn it into a business for the purpose of making a gain from it and not loosing cash…..the video will answer lots of questions in the comment box…. Pls check back if interested…
Wow 😯 it means you didn’t watch the video… I explained everything in the video.. yes it is very possible to blend tigernuts without soaking but it has to be blended with the blending machine outside… except you use a blending machine that’s very strong at home( maybe like those buchymix and the likes) I don’t soak my tigernuts at all.
Thank you for sharing ma ❤, the country i am they only grand powdered thing's, but can i wash it sun it to dry nd grand it later put water. How much is the tigernut 1 custard rubber
You are welcome…. Oh okay, that should work.. let’s give it a try but don’t wash it except you ready to grind it the same day… so wash it thoroughly then dry it so the water on the body can dry off then go blend it when it’s dry… the drying process should only take few hours so you should blend it d same day (because once in contact with water, it means you ready to blend & extract it ) so once you try it out let me know if you got a great result. Add your water carefully so you don’t add over
Oh, okay 👍 Tigernut milk 🥛 s a Nigerian drink known as “kunnu-aya” by the Hausas, the Igbo’s know it as ofio, it’s a beloved drink equivalent to the Spanish drink horchata de chufa, where chufa means tigernut.
Hmm 🤔 300 bottles ?!. 4 paints for 100 bottles so definitely 12 paints should do 300 bottles of this size I used…. And it might remain small for testing 🤓
Nope… remove the seeds from the dates before blending… what you have to do is first soak the dates in water for 10-15 minutes max, then divide into two using your knife so you can be able to remove the seeds from it easily… thanks 🙏
From 1k upward, depending on the quality and cost of production….. so all you have to do is calculate the cost of production & no of bottles gotten from the production Sorry for the late response
Please when I make mine before watch this, when I put in freezer it was thick like pap, and it wasn't like that when I make it, I hope is still drinkable
Hmm 🤔, the cup is 50 cl and i got three of that and 12- 14 of 35 cl can’t remember for sure but it wasn’t more than 14 of 35 cl or less than 12 of 35 cl
I can’t really say because i don’t add water to mine except for the pure water the blender uses in blending it and the ice added to it after blending at the spot…. But a lot requested for a video showing everything else like the blending and extracting and other questions…. So I’ll post another video of that in few days from now… I will post the link of the new video in the particular comment section and also pin it so it can be easily accessible…. How about that?
I don’t fully get your question but i don’t soak my tigernuts at all…. I pick out the dirts and wash thoroughly then i add my other ingredients and go blend it outside with manual blending machine outside….
I’m posting a second part of the tigernut video on Wednesday…pls do well to check back for a better understanding of how it’s done. Thanks 🙏 and pls subscribe to my channel and turn notification 📢 bell.
Hello ma'am I know this message came late...first, thanks for the detailed recipe of this drink. You said you don't soak yours to avoid sour, how then can i cover the money because soaking it doubles the size. Please reply if you can thanks.
You are welcome 🤗 Yes i don’t soak mine at all….and no soaking doesn’t double the size, not that i have taken note of when i soak before…. But you can make your money by either increasing your price or by adding a little bit of water after blending( so the liquid can be more) But because mine is always creamy, I make my money by increasing my price rather than decreasing my quality to make a gain….
@@vinneta3848 You deserve a hug ma'am🥰🥰🤗. Despite the video had stayed for months you still replied.. Thanks so much for the feedback,i will apply all you just said..
Hi 👋, I didn’t soak at all. With time i got to realize that soaking makes the tigernut drink spoil quickly especially when it’s not for immediate consumption. So i just blend straight away.
I really didn’t use much water except the pure water used in blending it outside…. I used pure water cause I really do not trust the water outside… and i wanted it to be thick and creamy so i didn’t add water to it even when i got home…. But if you think it’s too thick you can add water bits by bits and taste when you get home after blending
pls i want to go deep into this . i want to open it as a business,i want to learn more, i did mine n it was watery pls what is the measurement of the water u use for one custard paint of tiger nut u used let me try it again mine was to watery
Well i sell mine too and i don’t add water to it except the water that was added when blending it(pure water) so that’s what makes it think and creamy always and that’s what makes my price higher from some of those that sells…there’s so much to learn for those who would like to go into the tigernut business…I have been getting lots of comments on that aspect so I’ll be doing a video on it extensively for the sake of people who would like to make profit from it
I’m sorry about that…. I will upload a better video showing everything and also for the purpose of answering questions that were asked on the comment section…. So pls if you don’t mind, check back by end of the month… that’s just days from now thanks
Tigernut spoils easily and if not properly prepared the best way… and if you want it to last for days then it has to be in the freezer….like it has to be frozen. And also if you want it to last for days, there’s a lil bit difference in the preparation…..
Where’s your location? Do you want to place an order? There’s :👇 35cl - 1000 naira 50cl - 1200 naira 2.5 liters - 5500 5 liters - 9600 naira … and more for occasions(parties)… Although the price is cheaper depending on the quantity in cases of events(parties)
So sorry for the late reply…. Just calculate the cost of production (everything) then divide by the No of quantity(no of drink) gotten from the production then add how much you like to gain on each bottle
Then again you can times the price of each bottle with the quantity of bottles gotten and minus the cost of production from it…. The remainder is your gain… check to see if it’s worth the stress
I’m so sorry about that…. I’m still getting better in editing my videos…. Although, have taken note about your complain so I’ll work on that aspect….. Thanks for the love ❤️
I don’t use preservatives in any of my drinks…for tigernut drink for instance, all it really needs is, 1st) the method of preparation determines the duration before it spoils and 2nd) it has to be frozen… as in kept in the freezer(where there’s constant light) and that’s why i always deliver mine in batches…I don’t do plenty at once, except I’m sure it’s been paid for… so i don’t know if any preservatives 😀🙏
@@starlinastar3184 it depends on the type of tigernut used in making the milk…and also if you soak the nuts it will definitely give you that clotted result…and also d amount is f coconuts used… you just have to measure the ingredients right and prepared the right way to prevent that from happening… I will do an extensive video on it.. pls stay tuned 🙏
@@starlinastar3184 There are just too many precautions to be taken when making tigernut drink to get a perfect taste and look, the measurements has to be right and the preparations as well…..
Please I just started my tiger nuts and zobo business but my client always complains my tigernuts has gotten I feel so bad so planning on making another one tomorrow how to I go about it please that if I put it in fridge it won’t get bad the next day
I’ll advice you blend outside except if you are sure your blender is very strong and can crush anything hard…. Cause the tigernut seeds weren’t soaked….
I don’t put any preservatives in my drinks but I always make sure to tag 🏷️ in the production date and expiration date on the drinks… I just make sure my freezer in on and there’s 24/7 light…. That way it stays for days
Hi. When buying, ask the vendors. I prefer to purchase mine from the northerners that sells in the market…but sometimes and most times they don’t even know which is milky and which is sweeter… but one way you can tell is the sweeter one is lighter in color…the milky one is darker in color and a little smaller in size…
Which i will be dropping a video soon to talk more about the A-Z of tiger-nut drink… the do’s and don’t…a more detailed video for people who would like to go into the business like me….because in this video i was trying hard not to make it longer than it is….there’s more to know and learn about the drink…so if you interested, send a love emoji & pls watch out for this in this space….I’m glad to be of help, thanks 🙏
You mean sour right??????…. Did you soak the dry tigernuts??? How many coconut did you use to what quantity of tigernuts? Did you sieve the milk immediately you were done blending? And what did you use in blending it ? Did you put it in the freezer Immediately after ????
No, I did not soak it at all… so it doesn’t spoil quickly…..I don’t soak my tigernuts at all. I will be doing a more detailed video of tigernut drink, discussing the mistakes I made and the ones a whole lot of people are still making which makes their tigernut drink to spoil quickly…a whole lot more ,atleast for the benefit of those who would like to go into the business and make profit from it… So pls stay tuned if you are interested. 🙏
No… I didn’t soak mine at all… I just washed and took it out to blend outside with the local grinding machine… but never use the blending machine used for pepper… as it will utter the taste of the drink
