Fr, I recently had to stop talking to a friend for that very reason. They were having delusions of grandeur and I was honest and told them I wasn't going to enable it and they haven't talked to me since. It's also really unfortunate how a lot of online spiritual communities have turned into right wing conspiracy rabbit holes. I'm familiar enough with politics to recognize dog whistles and there are an unfortunate amount of spiritual videos that have made me raise an eyebrow on certain subjects. A lot of the starseed stuff especially gets too close to anti-Semitic conspiracy theories for my liking.

In the past it was illegal for women to be impregnated by black individuals, so they would claim their child was part cherokee in order to not get in trouble.
