"I hadn't smoked or took a shot of drink Cause I started the second album off on another note Now, that note threw some ni**as in the hood off But see I'd balled out, and before I fall I'd Slow my 'Lac down to a nice speed The brain was that fried egg I might need"- Dre 3000
@@TsuFuji I wouldn’t say that. It played a part later. But in the documentary the shift began before he met her. They were riding in separate buses and all that because he stopped smoking and went celibate
Always knew there was a difference in him lyrically but that's what made them as a group so amazing. I love how he just believed and didn't let the outside world or friends change him Andre 3000 never let the peer pressure get to him and if he did he would not take it for long. Sometimes people call you awkward when you don't move the way everybody else move. I always can respect that out of anybody.
@@edwardwright7295totally agree, bold enough to be what/who makes you comfortable even if it’s viewed as “not normal” instead of pretending which is what a lot of ppl do just to fit in.
I Believe in some cases it happens sooner for other people and later for the others and sometimes never at all. Some people don't want to change because they worried about what other people might think of them. But I always knew the difference between Andre 3000 and everybody else sometimes he probably felt like the world was spinning like a roller coaster ride that wouldn't never come to an end and all he wanted to do was just get off. It's amazing to me to find out that he's been feeling that way for that long that means he's probably been going through a lot in his mental along with the obligations of signing that contract. But I'm glad he sticked to it and showed that you don't have to be like everybody else because Lord knows he is unique and set apart from everyone else.
As a former self proclaimed STONER, you realize your unhealthy habits and try to better yourself. I still smoke mostly every day but I had to realize HOW MUCH I was smoking was “unhealthy”.
That's what I admire about him. It takes a lot to flip your entire world and try to better yourself and the first way is eating and stopping the things that harm your body first. Enlightenment is not bad. You don't have to stay the same to keep your credit. I'm glad because he helped many see that it's not always about cussing, hustling and killing it's about living your best life mentally and physically. Nothing wrong with that and I wish more people promoted that culture than what many do because it's lies and it keeps you dead or imprison.
We thought he was tripping. We talked bad about Mr. 3000 in the city. Then they dropped return of the gangsta, and put us in our place. I apologized and locked in. Been having eargasims ever since.
It’s ok if you relapse but stand up and keep going. You’ll stop eventually. I did. When the urge comes fight it. Remember anything you can’t do without isn’t freedom but bondage.
I remember when suthernplayalistic was underground ... I use to hang out at CHARLES PLACE ... when I tell you it was A MAGICAL TIME IN ATL... SUPERSTARS ON EVERY CORNER. ALL STARS ON EVERY TEAM... CLUBS LIT MONEY EVERYWHERE THE BEST STRIP CLUBS ON THE PLANET... I really don't understand how I survived... Real talk 👀

Nah....andre was always different, even before they started rapping.... his childhood was different from bigboi....watch the documentary, it explains what I'm saying
@@jerr2560 he actually said he didn't even want to wear those clothes.... go check out the outkast documentary....they go in depth about all of this, its pretty good too....also, remember when he got onstage at the source awards and said "the south got something to say"?.....check out the shirt he's wearing, totally different then players ball....thats what he wanted to wear all along during those early days....the second album, he just said fuck it....And this was pre-Badu....but definitely peep the documentary when you get a chance
For him maybe, especially in that environment..for a normal person..Hell na, try being married. Statistically 100% of divorce's start with marriage. 👀😂 Jokes aside yea its easier to withhold and becomes less of a big factor at some point in life after a while.
@foreveryone I wouldn't say first Bizzy bone went through his spiritual awaking when he broke away from the group a time there. Mfs was joking and laughing not understanding why he was walking through the streets of Columbus n shit. And Don't get me started on Wendy Williams she basically was mocking homiie.
@@tonetone249 I hate knowing how far she went just by seeing the comment. She was low-key always shady, but DAMN the bitch got blatantly worse as time went on. Regardless of who got bigger from her show, she just downed so many people over the many many years.
