I remember the last time I played this game... I got hit, sat down in awe at the dudes combo, went downstairs to make a cup of tea, noticed I was out of tea, went to the store to get some more tea, on my way home ran into a childhood friend, had a good chat, finally got home to make my tea, went back to the game, and this dude was still on his combo..
It's the one thing I think they should have changed about the combo system. They should have brought back Ultra Breakers from KI2 if someone tries to double you up.
How so? Then again, mutated dromaeosaur and mutated dinosaurs in general... Though the Indoraptor or I-Rex aren't cyborgs, yet I think that may be a bit too much for Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
Never played a single KI game but I always found it highly entertaining to watch. Especially from Max, who has the enthusiasm for fighting games. I remember when he was touted as the best player when this game first came out. Good times.
I swear that KI is the reason I bought an Xbox one when this game came out I played it for a year and a half consecutive. I'm 35 years old and this game was part of my childhood and I still loving it.

For all the fighting games out there, KI will always be one of the few that's never boring to watch. You don't have to appreciate fighting games in any way, and you still look at it and go "yo that's fuckin rad"
I know this was awhile ago, but resolutions used to be based on vertical resolution (720p, 1080p, 1440p, etc). "4k" is 3840x2160 and should have been called 2k. The only reason they went with 4k was because it sounded better in marketing.

I just got this game (I know it's super late) I hadn't played Ki since the SNES days, back before I knew anything about how to play fighting games. And I have to say, for teaching you how to play the game? This game is 10/10 I am loving Hisako!
TJ will always be my favorite character. I remember kinda struggling to find a main in KI when it first came out and then TJ came out and I had so much damn fun with him and how much my friends HATED me cause I was too quick with him
I forgot awesome KI is, from the character designs, stages, gameplay, and the music. I also like the variety of unlockables for each person. KI is sick.
Since it really takes a knowledge of each character in Killer Instinct to break combos, this game could use a Shang Tsung-type character. Morphing into your opponent character or any character at will would be cool for this game.
I agree with you Max about Mick Gordon, he did a fantastic job on the Killer Instinct OST. If I have to pick the best theme song it’s rival between TJ Combo and Fulgore. Hell the music is fantastic it makes me wanna bump up the music and enter epic mode
Max I swear you had something to do with killer instict being on gamepass ,and I have to say for that your awesome. I haven't played a killer instict game since whatever one I used to play with my mother on the super Nintendo ,and she used to beat me up all the time and I loved every second. I started playing the game with my friend (we play alot of fighting games together.) We were blown away by all the sweet ass characters and moves and just diffrent crazy shit it seriously makes me want a KI 2 like PLEASE. I cant even pick a main or even like 3 characters cause everyone is so Sick an I hardly ever have this much of a problem in a fighting game lol. I wish I was more into it when the hype was surrounding it 100%. Now I just gotta figure out how to deal with Gargos so I can officially stop being a noob. Anyway thanks for getting me intrested and thanks for the quality content!
I'm watching this while Killer Instinct is downloading on my laptop. I can't wait to get into the Windows 10 goodness! Especially since I had to sell my Xbox One.
I never got good at KI but I did enjoy playing with friends and watching this definitely makes me wish they would bring it back. Plus xbox needs a new exclusive
You know Killer Instinct is great just because of the variety of characters you see at high levels. Any other game, you'd see the top eight and MAYBE some weirdo playing a bottom tier and kicking ass. Such a well balanced game.
Nobody calls 1440p 2K... 2K is (generally, if you're not counting various cinemas formats) 2048x1080, roughly 2000 pixels wide. 1440p is 2560x1440 and is often called QHD because it's four times the size of 720p, which was the original HD format. 4K is actually 4096x2160, roughly 4000 pixels wide. UHD is 3840x2160. A lot of people erroneously call it 4K, usually because of marketing reasons. That may be why you're confusing it for 4K.
Hey MD, what are you thoughts on fighting games allowing movement prior to the match starting? I get the strategy it allows but it hardly allows for neutral start position as in all forms of combat in RL. Another great video. Keep up the great work.
