Finally, this conversation in Cafe Metro! I actually kind of understand why you could only see Curtis drive away if you did the Pierre’s route, because when you choose Bernard and don’t go to Cafe Metro you don’t really meet Curtis until the Louvre, right? The cutscene that really makes no sense is the one after the explosion at Renne’s, when Curtis sees Lara jump on some kind of boat (???), he looks like he was observing the place, maybe following Eckhard, but without a boat level this part seems unfinished. All in all, thanks for your review, this mod seems promising, will definitely try it out! Wish there was a mod that adds another part of town, where Lara was supposed to meet the shapeshifter. Not very realistic, but I hope one day we will get a finished version of this game, with Turkey and Castle Kriegler 😭

Hello Miss Ariquel, that was once again excellent work. AOD is a treasure of the gaming industry, but it's gradually being forgotten except for a few good fans with good taste. What else was removed before the release in June 2003 ?... 😥 Thanks for this post! 🌹🤗🌹

Thanks for making the video! And for the compliments! I do really wonder how you managed to play with the wrong aspect ratio given that its automatically set to the right aspect radio for widescreen. I also see you didn't enable multi sampling in the settings menu so edges look aliased. All this is explained in the installation instructions manual. There's 2 recommended ways to play this game now: tank controls with keyboard and mouse, and camera relative controls with a controller. They are in fact quite different ways to play About the Le Serpent Rouge door: yes the original developers originally planned to have the entry door be where it's now located in the Definitive Edition. They changed it for whatever reason and the location wasn't correct at all when looking at the building's layout. So this has been fixed. We're looking into making the sunglasses equippable in the future. Lastly I wanted to add that you actually seemed to have noticed just a few of the many many many fixes and improvements the game received. If you're curious to see what has been fixed and improved, take a look at the changelog document, and maybe replay again? :D

This really looks like they improved the first part of the game a lot :) with some weirder decisions but overall it does look better =) Thanks for guiding us through this, this is a great video!

For some weird reason the part of the wall from castle Krieger is still in Parisian backstreets. I suppose the reason behind that is, if the wall was deleted, it would show its just emptiness behind it.

Guys, I have a problem with the mod. Even with the headphone sound output, the sound comes out through the speaker. And even trying to change the options, it won't. How do I resolve this? Anyone had the same problem?

I don't know.. but to me the original controls were better especially when it comes to the fixed camera view but overall the demo was a lot better in the graphics the new things they added and ofcourse the new lines that lara says
