A good leader invests in people & hands over the mantle while still strong enough to train others who will take over when he/she is gone. Good leadership is not a one man show.Its not about clinging to power. Life is a stage and a good leader will not selfishly hold on to power. They’ll pass the mantle of leadership & equip the younger generation to lead when they are gone!
The moment Rev Mwangi walked to the alter, kissed his arm, and was handed over the flaming candle, I knew power has exchanged hands. I felt emotional. But I am happy. You know why? To me, a god has just left the temple to come and live with us locally. I can't wait to see Bishop more on social media talking about life, businesses, and families. He will be more reachable as a counselor than a priest. I wish you well and I hope Rev Zakayo fits in your shoes. Inshallah!

Bishop JJ said in the beginning of his speech that he was hand8ng over to Mwangi Zakayo, “this night only and this congregation only.” I think we all missed that part due to emotions. I watched again and he is clear about it being the night’s preaching.
