Jesse's editing definitely took things to a whole new level for this vlog. The soundtrack was fire, matched the vibe of the shots, 100% good stuff. Sucks DTang didn't make the cut, you could definitely feel the frying out and after watching league night for so long I get why.

The reason Dtang is gonna hit the 100,000 goal is because Jessie is doing crazy work on the edits. The new music makes it better too. Also I love that you are showing more of your emotions in the vlogs now!

I tend to agree that HIGH end regionals need to be tougher. I would EXPECT them to be tough. HOWEVER you have the chance to LEARN and take NOTES from this. Set up a file system on the PC that has bullet point notes from EACH regional you run in. And set reminders to go over them in the days leading up to them. You said it yourself at Kent Memorial you remembered the year prior needing the Hyroad...and you didnt bring it this time either. So set a PC note about it to bring one NEXT year. Or Hell send ME the ball you want to use and I"ll remember to bring it to you.

I just trolled all the comments you replied to. Love the interactions. Did they make the shot easier so that more amateurs would be interested in bowling more tournaments? I also don’t believe that amateur bowlers should be able to keep up with Pros. There aren’t many sports where amateurs can also play with Pro’s. During a ProAm the lanes weren’t re-oiled between what the pro’s played on, so no tap was 8 pins instead of 9. SO MANY PEOPLE had a hard time even hitting the head pin.

I bowled in this tournament. I am with you Darren. I let the high scores irritate me and it completely took me out of it. I watched monster scores around me and tried too damn hard to keep up, rather than playing my game. Conditions were way too easy for a PBA regional event.

This tournament vlog was my favorite by far; felt like a literal documentary/day in the life of DTang. Sorry you didn't make the cut, you're amazing any way!

I am no expert. But keeping small notes does help. You can't be sure you are starting in the same spot each time unless you do take notes. Take the notes at the alley. Read them at home. Take notes on something important to you very useful if you go to the bowling center again

I like how you just talk without a filter in front of your dad, curses and all. That's dope. Also you, Mikey, Anthony Schanen, and that Kritzer guy all have nice bowling forms. You probably have the smoothest release of them all, but every one of you has a great bowling form. Yes, I'm also biased cuz I hate two handed bowling passionately. Sad so many of those guys are lame two handed bowlers. I get you're hard on yourself when your roll doesn't go the way you want, but I'm sure if you stay centered, you will get back up how you did when you won your title. You'll win more I'm sure. Why is nobody talking about maverick though?! Probably the most epic name ever. Man, not sure if you put way more pressure on yourself because of POTY or we just got to see you vocalize it more. As soon as you said, "I have to win to have a chance at POTY." I was thinking it may be dangerous. I do the same thing and I'm a hack, bowling for pennies. Some thrive when they put that pressure on themselves... I am not one of them. Also, yes Jesse absolutely killed this video! From the editing, to the questions to get some insight and the music. Bowlers can be a holes, especially when it's not going well. Not easy to approach and ask questions. I like how Darren handled it professionally without blowing up at Jesse when he asked questions. The extra insight added a ton to the video.

I understand now why you hate league so much I don’t know what they have done to the lanes at my league these last two weeks but it doesn’t matter what I throw, where I throw it, or how fast or slow I throw it. I can throw the same ball in the same spot and have two completely different outcomes. Everyone else in the league all bowls the exact same way straight up 10 angled towards the pocket so their ball only hooks like 5 boards maybe. I threw 3 different balls 30 different ways and could not get the ball to strike. I maybe ordering some I hate league mercy for Christmas lol
