I think something that would be great in that empty toilet side is a mirror and a drop down (or lift up) shelf. You could even set it down at toilet level so you can bring up the shelf and do some detail stuff (makeup, contacts, etc.) while sitting down, and it would take minimal space when the shelf is in closed mode.

We have a 2021 14CC and enjoy the size. A murphy bed option would be nice. A drawer under the sink and the split sink cover would be nice. One thing I would like changed would be the bathroom and shower doors opening to the cabin vs the exterior door. They need to add lighting in the rear of the trailer for the steps. Overall the trailer works for the two of us.

@@JoshtheRVNerd I'd actually like to see ROCKWOOD MiniLite, or even GeoPro do this EXACT (with the exception of they SHOULD put the sink in with the toilet NOT the shower shouldn't have to open one door to open another door to jump in a shower to use a sink to wash my hands after doin' my bidness know what I'm sayin'? (yeah you called it too) kinda stupid IMO) floorplan including the split bathroom and all their aluminum structure and building practices etc. Unless they already have? I can't remember....

Logistically I understand WHY they didn't add extra plumbing, drain etc. on the toilet side, but other manufacturers probably SHOULD to get over that cost-effective option etc.

I like the split sink cover. You can use one half to help shield the side of the stove - especially when cooking bacon. I imagine the sink cover will be easier to clean than the wall!

Yes, this definitely needs a Murphy bed “AND” a sofa “option”so you have comfortable places to sit when it rains for days on end💥💥💥and then just add a 2 piece sink cover and a quality porcelain toilet and this would be an awesome little solo or couple’s camper😃😃😃

One of these small camper with a Murphy and dinette IS what I have been looking for. Very common situation I'm in. Friends and family boondocks camping. 2-4 people will sleep in a couple tents outside. Come dark time, kids goto bed in tents and adult stay up yapping. In the camper, the extra guest seating space and maneuver room of a Murphy would be AMAZING. Also same thing happens at deer camp. 18 feet and under, Murphy and a dinette? Please take my money!

Yes 7-1/2 feet is perfect. Rear entry is a good functional type camper; maybe a bit industrial like a work trailer. Reminds me of the old Compact Junior. What I'm concerned about is wall, floor and roof construction materials. Long-term internal wall wood is problematic for delamination or termite damage. I guess I have become excessively critical about build materials due to bad experience with wood/fiberglass composite walls and the great longevity of my 1978 Trillium 4500 fiberglass trailer. So far the Ember overland 170/171 and 190/191 are my. Top choice in a small trailer. (I own a 191msl).

It needs to be about another foot in length. This would allow for a small sink with the toilet, a little more prep space in the kitchen, and a small bank of drawers in the kitchen.

I actually really like this trailer. You could buy a large daybed pillow for the top of the bed and use it to lounge on. I would though prefer a reclining sofa where the dinette is with a smaller window above it.

I really like the back door campers for all the reasons you mentioned. Love love love the fridge! Personally not o fan of Murphy beds, but understand the reasoning. I would leave the dinette down, hate the poles, & do a lagoon table. It could double as extra counter space too. Thanks for the videos Josh!

I wouldn't care for a sofa in that floorplan, but I would like to see the window shortened and a bar dinette put in (assuming there's nothing too difficult to move under the benches). I think they could extend the wheel well box forward and let people use it as a foot rest. Especially if the put a plug or two, so people could run a small appliance on the bar and still have full use of the sink and stove.

Love these rear door camper trailers. I am on my 2nd one now. Both of mine were built by Taylor Coach here in Ontario, Canada. Lots of advantages of having a rear door trailer. It really opens up the space inside the trailer. Really nice for packing and unpacking too. Just back it up to my garage door. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few disadvantages too. We went with a twin bed model this time. I am pretty sure that Wolf Pup copied the Taylor Coach layout which has been around for many years.

I wish these little rv's came with a twin bed option. Being a solo camper I don't need a queen bed. And... That would free up so much living space. In this model, you could strech the water closet to have a sink and vanity. And, on the other side you could add some kitchen counter space and drawers. In the black label edition I always find those shower head setups to be silly. Serious overkill IMHO. Overall, cute camper. I like it...👍

I’ve seen several trailers with this floor plan. However this one beats them all! As a solo camper I could be very comfortable in it. The drawer issue would take some getting used to but I could make something work. The counter space for that small a camper is more than I see in much larger ones! I would have to come up with something over the door for rainy days though. Oh and Velveeta shells and cheese for sure!!!

Flip the kitchen to outher side then put in a jackknife sofa with a floating table. on the toilet side a shelf or small not to deep cabinet for toilet paper and a medicine cabinet with mirror. I like the bed just make it a real queen. And put a phone shelf with a drink holder or hole along the wall under the cabints in the bedroom area

I also prefer the split sink covers both for the flexibility and that it can make them a little easier to tuck out of the way when you’re using the sink. I very much like your sideways Murphy bed idea to get a sofa in there but even just having the option to swap a sofa in for that dinette would be really nice to open up some space. As far as the best Mac and cheese there’s no contest, it’s the hamburger helper cheeseburger Mac. But getting back to the camper the split bath in this is really not bad for its size but I’d really like to see a flip down sink on the toilet side and just a couple of small shelves either tucked into the corner or over the toilet with some cargo netting to hold even just a couple rolls of TP. Also just a suggestion for you, I’ve seen other tv review channels on here bring a measuring tape with them so that they can measure things like the shower height and when there’s a sofa or dinette that turns into a bed to give a better idea of what size of person will fit since those are rarely measures you can find online easily and can easily be make or break on a camper. As always I love your videos and appreciate all the work you put in to giving such a good look at these campers

MAN for the amazing price of this unit you could do some DIY pulling-wire re-wiring for up to about 800W of solar and balance the weight out by putting the batteries/controller/stuff under one part of the dinette and have an amazing off-grid, SMALL but fully-functional base camp!

Murphy bed in this particular model would be absolutely impactful and a drawer next to the vent hood under the upper cabinets would be clutch. A jacknife sofa would be my preference as well . I'm 6'3" 350lbs those small booth's are absolutely not usable for me . The empty "water closet" if it had an air inlet close to the floor and towel hangers you could youse it as a drying room for damp clothes and towels, of course not dripping wet but wet none the less

That split sink lid is a nice idea. I like the dinette honestly. Gives you a place to play cards/games. Could they put a small sink/fold down sink in the bathroom with the toilet. Just big enough to wash hands without going to the kitchen. And maybe a little more solar panel. Or a side tap for a portable plug in panel.

If you like this trailer but want a murphy bed, check out the Sun Lite 18RD from Sunset Trailers. It's not quite identical... they cram the bathroom together to give a bit more room around the bed... but they do have a murphy option. It's on my short list, and I've always hoped that Josh would review it some time, but I guess it's not a make that Bish's carries. Thanks for the reviews, Nerd! They've been and continue to be a fantastic resource for my RV shopping!

Absolutely love it! It needs a shelf in the w.c. for baby wipes and hand sanitizer. One of the only times I've ever thought a Murphy bed is the better way to go. Probably should have some option for a sofa instead of the dinette if you need to sleep 4. Still, that's super cool!

DRAWER!!! I would put a clothes rod for the water closet to get some function out of it for me. move the LP connector closer to the edge of the awning. Those type of steps are a must for that style of camper....keeps from popping a wheelie and coasting down the street unexpectedly. I would loose the wood headboard and do a foam husband type thing.

I like the idea of a murphy bed, that would make tv viewing much easier. Also, perhaps think about losing the dinette and replace it with a fold down bar with a couple of stools. I've never been a fan of the fancy dancy shower hardware in such a small space. Give me the OG shower hardware with a holder by the sink for the sprayer, or one of those spiffy fold down sinks in the toilet space. Now the awning... this rig is screaming for a batwing awning that would cover the door and rear passenger side of the rig. Considering the small interior (and exterior) space, lose the speakers and replace with a portable Bluetooth speaker. 🙂

Overall it a nice trailer! Needs an awning over the rear door area. I remember a rear entrance camper years ago that had an awning with a small “porch” area. Also, it has fancy mega shower hardware but no door blinds, I’d rather have the blinds and a standard shower unit.

Murray bed for sure, double your living space, Correction North South Murphy bed. Otherwise you’d block the window on one side or the other. Also seems like some cabinets could have placed high on the walls of the Toilet room. I would entirely ditch the dinette for a fold up table and storable chairs, if I have guest I fold the table stow the chairs and set up a cot with a nice inflatable pad which would be far more comfortable than the Dinette bed

Two pieces for the sink cover. I like the small sink. I hate it when they put a huge sink in, with no counter. Give me counter over a large rectangular sink. By the way, I took a similar bed area and removed the back rest of the dinette, that butts up against it. I needed a specialized mattress. So my mattress is against the front, and is brought forward to the inside edge at night. My husbands bed is over the dinette area at night, but slides quite easily during the day, to created a sofa-like area. We can also both "recline" on our respective mattresses, during the day.

Josh, do you know anyone that has scoured the rv community for hacks or modification ideas, used to acommodate medical conditions, and posted a compilation of the information? Or does anyone else out there know someone or some group?

I like it except the bathroom sink needs to be with the toilet. 😬 An optional bunk above the bed would be nice.

I think the jack knife sofa would stick out a lot into the walk way, getting to the bathroom could be an issue in the night. I do like the split sink. I liked the first one they brought out a year or so ago. Toilet area is still too tight for my size of bod though.

Cabinet doors below the dinette (or sofa), small medicine cabinet in the poo room. Agree on the drawer. Otherwise I really like this. It’s interesting that the rear jacks are so far inboard.

Split cover, but move the sink to the right! Why can't someone make a layout like the defunct Airstream Nest U? That was a wonderful floor plan.

I don't particularly like the idea of a dinette. I would turn it into a sofa/ daybed situation with Tv trays for eating on. I would really like recliner(s) but I see the wheel well back there. I would like a cassette toilet option with the access on the outside and a twist toilet.

Plot twist. The best box Mac and cheese is made with sour cream instead of milk. Makes the sauce nice and rich and thick and creamy, and tastes 1000x better. 😜

Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese, Cheesy Jalapeno Flavor, or if you are like me and like heat then Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese, Flamin' Hot Flavor ❤❤❤ like the layout though the cooking (?) area/surface disappoints but air fryer and a hot plate would work.

I don’t like that a lot of manufacturers are only putting in the sofas. I don’t go camping to watch tv. If it’s raining, play cards, face each other and talk. I prefer a dinette and so many campers are automatically a NO because they only put in a sofa.

My wife and I are in our fifties w/ a disabled adult son (autism, 25 y/o). He's too big for bunks. We'd love a Jack knife sofa! Sit by day, sleep at night. Couples with d/a adult children are a lot more prevalent these days. Wish manufacturers would offer better options for us. Thanks
