I play with a Jungler who is really mad, next game go against the same Jungler, Jungler invites me to call after game 2. Near the end of the call he says some pretty funny stuff like "I'm kinda like a mini celebrity myself" and jokes about me not being able to finish Challenger at end of season, those comments made me feel like he is a pretty laid back and goofy guy because to me it sounded like he was just messing around. Sucks that in-game he is being so insufferable though.

The last like 30 seconds of the convo (him being a 3k mini celeb and banter about me not climbing end season) honestly were pretty funny joking back and forth. You can even hear him laugh slightly when I said "is that what real humans say" after his diagnosis. Made me feel like he'd be a goofy dude if not for the massive in-game toxicity and huge ego

That call was hilarious LOL. Not sure how he got challenger. He definitely didn’t get it for 2 seasons. That was his first challenger season. Most delusional typical hecarim player on the planet. I’m surprised Pekin didn’t lay into him about his gameplay more. Pekin had so much ammo. They should have vod reviewed it and Pekin would have had the entire game to point out his mistakes. Taking kill AND wave prevents Pekin from gathering a large lead over Ryze. Hecarim was the reason Pekin didn’t have prio. Then he invades alone or gets invaded when Pekin doesn’t have prio… BECAUSE of him… A fed af Hecarim who got Challenger doesn’t know how to transfer his lead to the team… maybe his older brother got chally for him because I don’t believe it based on his gameplay

He's probably not a Hec main, and you can usually solo-carry a game with that champ if you get a sizeable lead. Problem was that he was solo- engaging onto double tanky frontline when he would have easily wiped their backline had let the enemy push further into his side of the map, which brings the backline forward and gives Naut and Riven and ofc himself easier access to the fight. Pekin sounded pretty disinterested in trying to convince that guy of anything, I don't blame him- he sounds very stubborn and self-assured in what he's doing. Hard to convince someone like that they're wrong, but it would have made good content nonetheless. He looked really good on Belveth which I assume is his main, that hyper-aggro playstyle fits him as he clearly can dominate with his mechs.

Insecurity stemming from perceived lack of real world experience/accomplishments, compensate for that in-game by playing aggro. If the forced plays don't work and you have to concede an objective or whatnot you can start looking for someone to blame. Begin to spiral out in anger and tilt yourself to the point where you snap and begin playing fully emotionally, aka trolling, despite the reason you were upset to begin with was because you were afraid of losing... nasty cycle~!

maybe a vod review would have changed his mind. or atleast gave us more insight of his thoughts in certain situations. hyper aggressive players like him get easily frustrated, because their teammates are not on the same page. they probably have their own gameplan and even the slightest deviation causes them struggle. which leads them to feel like they cant impact the game even though nothing bad has happened yet.they are so in their own mind that they cant even comprehend nor remember anything that happened in the game. which is why he didnt even realise that you helped quite a lot and that he took your farm. really interesting if you think about it.

Hey Pekin, Loved the Naut mid content! Here's a build alternative for your consideration on mid Naut- because of the health scaling on W and Aftershock combined with the mid lane offering some of the best GPM, rushing heartsteel yields some pretty amazing dividends. The proc does 12% bonus HP in damage, which can combine with aftershock and one of the burn items for comparable damage to a RoA with the added benefit of more tankiness. Because Naut keeps people locked down for so long, heart steel procs are much more likely and items like Unending Despair or Sunfire start to yield much better results. Items like RoA and Liandry's coming after some baseline tankyness always feels better when I play Naut.

I wish I had the courage to have conversations with toxic players, just so that they know what my reasoning was for certain plays and why their actions had negative consequences. I can't communicate effectively in game because I'm too focused on playing. But once the game is over, people just type walls of aggressive things at me without giving me a chance to speak for myself or respond to their inquiries. So I end up just never trying to talk to them. I give you props for even attempting to have a conversation with this person on voice chat.

I think that he's early season Challenger. 500 LP is the minimum to be Challenger so currently he's just barely there. But then when seasons start ending or in this case splits that LP is going to go up to around 800ish. That's kind of why I was saying "have you finished a season Challenger?" because 500 LP right now means that there's no chance you can keep it
