That's why there are so many arguments about ranking. I'm usually topping leaderboards every game doing tanks jobs and dps...just teammates don't show up to play honestly
@@ducasse8473 not necessarily, i think maybe on this case but that lucio for example, was getting caught to many times by the hook because frontlining, so he alone fucked up the team already. the dps trying means shit if at the same time you kill your team is dying.
Yea, I always find that funny when it happened! Make me want to get a better battlefield awareness!.... Some kills don;t matter, some matter more than other!...
@@kozmik1460 that’s not the case for everyone. This video clearly shows a pro level dps going 42 and 1 while not dictating how the match goes. You literally can’t ask that dps to do more to win that match. For as good as that tracer was, the tank and support determined the outcome.
I had a game on old Junker town as widow where I was being dove all game and still went like 47-10 and we lost. I had to step away from the game for a while after that game.
@@nexor7809 It's not just a decent score, he was carrying as much as he could, some games are simply uncarriable /can't win them all, I had games with 50-60 elims where I lost, someone has to be trolling or being boosted/ being that bad or either doing it on purpose for the match to be that hard to win with such scores.
@@Flavaflav555 uh no thats not how it works. You can deal 5 dmg and its still gonna count as an elimination which is why scoreboard is utterly useless. Usually the only stat that matters the most is your death count and the lower it is the better. In my diamond games a lot of the time each player has about 40+ elims and 10-13 deaths. Its a standard score
idk if its the editing, commentary or the anticipation of wodnering if you get the hook or not but this gameplay is the only overwatch gameplay that doesnt make me bored to watch.
Ive had games on tank where my dps both are negative and won. not by me really doing all the killing but by playing the objective smart. stalling, living, killing the right things. the entire enemy team was positive and throwing out insane numbers. i was still behind numbers wise but was positive overall and my dps were severly negative by 8+ kills.
It's pretty common in low elo, as losing 4 v 5, winning by design (pharmacy) or simply a damn top 500 doing their low ego smoll pp challenges just to crush some newbies or bad players
@@slosh8773 That's assuming people would only try and stat pad and not play the objective. What would be the point of playing comp for just stats and not rank gain? I guess some people would do that? Wins and losses could still be the primary factor but performance a small part.
@@slosh8773 It would be possible but couldn't use any simple stats for a game as complex as OW. Would need to be some deep machine learning AI algorithm using deep data only blizzard has. I doubt Blizzard would put in the work to get such a system working accurately though so they don't bother.
So true, just by that I could give you a masters+ knowledge about the game, if your tank doesn't know what he is doing, you are doomed, so many games lost from clueless tank players not holding space, not contesting payload (bad position as well) and c9ing or 1 tricking into being countered to the ground and don't get me wrong, a good 1 trick could perform good even when countered, but the clueless average tank would just get stomped being countered and his team would be ready to bash their tank for playing to lose instead of switching.
@@raymondfan2402 I said "bad differential" as in, very unmatched tanks. No, there's no amount of carrying you can do in a match that's even other than the two tanks are severely unmatched. If you lose your tank you're down to 4 and they still have their most damaging and hardest to kill member, while you have no mitigation, significantly less damage and no sustain. Thats not even factoring in tank ults which are incredibly strong and important.
Sometimes the best player also regulates how the team plays. All of em were wayyy too aggressive tryna keep up with the tracer and they forget tht theres also an objective tht wins u the game 😂
Why dafuq is the tracer named the same as my IRL name, what kind of coincidence is this. I dont even watch OW2 content and still got this on my recommended, must be faith huh
Right now it feels like whatever tank has less deaths is the team that wins the game. Not that tank is the most impactful role just that once a tank dies the side that has the alive tank even down players is seeming to win out more than not.
A potg can change the out come or just any one play can play. Even one player can change the outcome of a game, but at the end of the day it’s a team based game. Rip to the tracer who carried
the enemy hog not only just missed hooks, but also inted so many times. its crazy, both bad not only mechanically but game sensually. Lucio also just inted a lot. Thats why they lost, tracer was trying to win a 3v5
This is the most me experience in OW I can commit mass genocide on the enemy team and my team finds those special windows in those moments to just make the worst decisions, die and not play objective Its truly magical how OW players work How they can consistently be so ineffective at whatever task is trusted to them
And ppl still think it isn't a team problem. You can go positive while you're whole team goes negative. This is literal proof that not every team is able to be carried 🤷🏾♂️
I went 49-6 on sombra, and my team threw because I was a Diamond Lucio, and a Silver DPS, and said playing sombra isn’t fair, and it was too easy, in the lobby
I once went 63-4or5 and still lost. Had double the damage and elims of the roughly 23-10 dps on the enemy team but unfortunately the hero pick of my tank made it impossible to win. Stubborn players 😭
