THIS TRACK IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE IN MX BIKES!

Wayyyyy too many hours of pain and learning … so worth it tho

There are some people that can get good very quickly but for most people it just comes from having like 1500+ hours into this game building muscle memory and mainly just learning the physics of the game. Also, for someone like me, I have 370 hours, and I feel I'm decently fast for my time in the game. I can't qualify for pro races yet or even the ARL "amateur" series, but I run really well in most public lobbies on the pro tracks and other mod tracks. However, what is fun to me in MX bikes is riding like you ride in real life, or like pros ride in real life. To be as fast as the pros in this game, you can't ride that way in most aspects, like the corner speed you have to carry at that level is INSANE compared to IRL. Also you have to hit the big lines in supercross, at least some of them even on a 250. Idk I've tried riding like that and I'm not denying it takes a lot of skill, but that just isn't what I play MX bikes to do. I'm just gonna keep putting time in and keep riding the way I like to ride and I'm hoping eventually I can make it into MXGP and pro motocross. I'm not worried about supercross right now so I've already been grinding outdoors, hoping by this summer I can at least make a few rounds of motocross. Also, unfortunately my schedule doesn't line up well with the amateur class, it usually starts at 5pm eastern and that is the same time I get off lol. The last few rounds they did at 6pm were great, I still didn't get any practice time but I could be ready by the time quali started. I hope they go back to that schedule, even if you can't qualify still sign up even for pro, just being there and being able to try and follow people faster than you will help you get better way more than just riding alone

Play around with lean

Start out slow and once you can make laps without falling on easy tracks then you can start getting faster and trying harder tracks

crf is not good, yz is actually pretty good

Think about it like this. In a video game where zero fear or injuries exist, think about how easy it is to run just one fast lap in a 30 minute session. You could be extremely inconsistent and a complete hazard on the track but since you railed around the track one time you now get to race with the best players. The fact I am 32nd in qualifying, barely making it into the motos, and running p6-p10 in a 30 minute race with erode is dumb. Some of those players ahead of me in qual are not actually good players, they are video game hot lappers.
