I think the Braves organization brings out the best in talent, and he'll be protected by great hitting surrounding him. You mentioned neither of these factors.

Pressure’s off of him now. He’ll bat lower in the order which he won’t b expected to carry the lineup. I think he’ll have a resurgence of a szn

The thing is, in Seattle the only hitter that could really protect Kelenic in the lineup would have been Julio more or less, as most everyone else in that lineup is inconsistent at best. The lineup Kelenic's going to be a part of now is one of the most stacked lineups the game has ever seen, with hardly any easy outs throughout the lineup. This is compounded by the fact that Atlanta's hitting coaches are some of the best in the business, and have gotten more production out of bats with far less inspiring potential to their lumber. At worst, Kelenic is a serviceable and younger Eddie Rosario replacement. If they manage to harness his untapped potential? He could finally be the long-term answer in LF Atlanta has been looking for throughout the years.

It will. This is kinda like when the Mariners traded Adam Jones to Orioles. Kelenic will naturally be an MVP cadidate for 3 out the 5 next seasons and hit .950 in the series in Seattle this upcoming season.

Kelenic is now coming to a winning organization with multiple all stars, so for sure it will humble him really quickly. Second, my Braves have an awesome batting coach and will work with this kid. Third, chemistry baby. When you have the pleasure of sitting next to arguably the best player in baseball in Acuna, your 2023 HR champ Olson, along with Albies, Riley, Ozuna all who had over 30 HRs, he will feel the pressure to get better and work hard. I have faith. It's like a scratch golfer who has just been handed Tiger Woods clubs. If you can't succeed in this environment, it's you

M's were already a winning org with muliple stars. Now instead of losing to the Astros he'll be losing to the Phillies. Full of yourself lately?
@JamesPMGaffney
@JamesPMGaffney 8 месяцев назад
@@aquarpioleonine3995 you forgot the quotation marks. The Mariners are a "winning" org. The Mariners were expecting him to be a big piece. The Braves will want him to be a piece that does as well as or slightly better than Eddie Rosario. Not the same. A lot of pressure will be off Kelenic. Instead of being expected to be a middle of the order bat, he'll be a 6th or 7th place hitter. He'll either blossom or will be a left fielder that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and won't cost the Braves games.

Even White may have put up terrible numbers during his limited time in the bigs, but he hit the ball hard, and was the best defender in the league at 1B. There is LOADS of potential if he can just make consistent contact. Oh yeah, and stay healthy. Early in the year He's suffered season ending injuries.

Rosario’s projections was no where near Kelenics. That’s why Kelenic was drafted sixth overall and Eddie was in the fourth round.

He’s also 8 years younger than Eddie and under team control for 5 years. I think Kelenik’s a significant upgrade over Eddie all things considered

Also the Braves (my team) always makes a sub par player a god like Olson while he was decent brought him from not really talked about to the 5th most valuable player in all of MLB and made Acuña from injury prone all the time to a god in another level, same with Ozuna, Riley while they have been good they had a little bit of slumps in 23 and then proceeded to pop off and be valued higher than any other person at that position other than Ohtani

@TheFergyme patience? like losing his temper and throwing his equipment into the stands while crying like an insolent child kind of patience? Thank God he's not like Harper💀😂. Philly blew two golden opportunities to get the same accolade that an 88-win Atlanta got in 21' lol. Phillies gonna do what they do best now, fade into mediocrity.

@TheFergyme BTW... if you don't think an offense that last year had quite literally the singular best offensive season in MLB history and has now improved their lineup even further, is dangerous.... that speaks volumes for your intelligence, or rather lack thereof.
