I was halfway through the video before I realized there were two deadlocks.

I think what makes this struggle on defense, especially in this match, is two things 1: you dont really have any flashes or a duelist to take space early round and follow up behind for retakes. 2: Oxygen were also playing deadlock which is just super strong in offensive postplant situations, and since M80 couldnt really fight early, if OXG got spike down retaking was even harder than if you were playing against a default comp

i feel like the defense problems might be solved if Deadlock and Fade/Omen Would push out a the grave net plus blind, wall Plus Haunt, Prowler plus gravenet would all be good ways to take a early and controll it with a sound sensor

Mr.TMV after watching a portion of the video i went into a custom and found a lineup for sage slow orb from B to C right under the omen oneway that could be thrown early before the orb area(Dont know what its called) to help the m80 comp defense side. P.S:(I have screenshots but don'tknow where to send them)

Haven’t watched the full video but honestly the comp didn’t have a lot of stopping power to prevent them from getting on site, which is my guess as to why they struggled on defense. Especially considering they stacked the cypher+deadlock util so much. I feel like instead of a sage, a viper (or duelist obviously) would’ve been a better pick than one of the sentinels.

Does it work better when oiled up?

Still not sold on Deadlock comps. If OXG were playing the KJ comp, on Defense they could have just fought rubble, forced rotates into C, and obliterated M80 with KJ set ups.

Basically the logic is the old G2 icebox comp but on Lotus

I am only reminded of the pure pain of double sentinel in my ranked games... Most slow comp ever on attack, if I wanna go in anywhere it's always too fast compared to what it should've been with the comp it feels like. Might as well afk for a minute 30 and then play the game for how high speed double sentinel feels for the average.
