I purchased your book a few weeks ago and I am truely thankful for it. I have played for about a year with no understanding of music theory. This has really resonated with me 🙏You are genuinely great at what you do. This video is one of many great ones of yours I have absorbed recently. I still have a long way to go but I now know how to tackle it.

Hi Rick. I need more like buttons when I have to rate your content. It's absolutely brilliant. Thank you. I only started playing guitar in my late thirties and I have been trying to understand the fretboard for the past 15 years. It has been frustrating to say the least. Therefore my guitar playing has been a long love hate relationship. Like trying to quit smoking. You stop in frustration because it's not good for your health but start again because you can't do without it anyway. But now your videos tie it all together. I think maybe it is your graphic representations that make it very visual and understandable for me. I can visualize these shapes and colors while playing. It's brilliant. I now want to play the guitar more than I have for a long time and now I believe that I will probably succeed. I bought your book and I can't wait to dive even deeper into the wonderful world of guitar playing. Thanks a lot Rick

Hi @rickysguitar! Your "money notes" tutorial combined with this tutorial have helped a lot with targeting chord tones for melodic soloing. I think a follow up tutorial connecting all the "money notes" for both major and minor up and down the fretboard would bring it home for many of us who wants to break out off scale method into "money notes" method for improvising and soloing. That would help a lot.

ThaNk all you guys who share your secrets about the guitar, memphis tn is a very selfish place when it comes to sharing secrets about the lead guitar thank god for the internet and utube and all the other social media sites and a very special thanks to all who totally love the lead guitar as i do and are willing to share those secrets god bless you i have paid dearly with ridicule and insults until i was able to at least play rhythm and i will never stop studying thanks again😂😊❤😊😊😊
