@@vasilyjameson I don't understand why EVERYONE says Wembanyana. It would make sense if it was only one or two commentators but it seems like its everybody
@@sirtainlee8725 The world is shocked right now. GS fans in the arena are oohing and aahing so loudly, and these are the same fans who aren't surprised Curry is shooting from half court. They never seen anything like this. Victor's all around game at 7 foot 4 make Curry's shooting look normal.
I think he’s the most freakish player since Wilt Chamberlain. In the future people will tell stories about a 7ft 5 Demi god who putback dunk his own 3pt attempt, posterized people from outside the restricted area, and many more mythical level plays

If he does that for 6 minutes once in a game, that'd be: 40 Points, 8 Blocks, 4 Rebounds. In half a quarter. We're seeing a 19 y.o rookie do that against a team of 3 future Hall of Famers, among which one who's arguably a top 5 or 10 player in NBA history. Those aren't bench warmers. Crazy.
@@brusselseastside3546 "arguably" "or 10" Words matter. I've seen many people (and not just Warrior fans) argue about it. Means he's in the conversation. Not that he is definitely top 5 (which I personally don't believe yet).

@@whoever_81absolutely, 19 years of age and great game IQ already...if you watch the whole game you can see that he is so pumped and motivating everybody in the team, fist pumping when they score, these are hints of leadership skills.
People forget he went to summer league after a long season. His season ended in June 17 with he lost in French League finals against Monaco (The club Kemba walker joined) in a 5 games series. By July He was already playin in summer league. In comparison College season of Basketball ended in March college athletes have 4 month to rest and work out for the upcoming draft and summer league.
Now I see why every analyst was hyping him up so much. He is the greatest prospect in the history of the NBA. If he stays healthy, he will run the league.
@@user-ht9mh4cm3f Relax, buddy. I wasn't watching VW. I would say that a good percent of the US population didn't know who he was until he was drafted. You butthurt fans need to relax.
As a basketball fan…I’m so glad he went to the Spurs. The best organization top to bottom…along with the best NBA Coach ever still in town. His growth and success will be Pops last gift to the game. He impacts every single aspect of the game on both sides….and he has height, length, & grace. It’s like Prozingus with KD’s Skill set. Pray he stays healthy!
This 2 minute sequence took the spurs from +2 to +10 leading score.. he plays so intensively that he might struggle if he stays on court for 30+ minutes but clearly he doesn't need it.. his 20min per game can already be game changers
that was unreal a mid range a dunk a 2 pts + foul a free throw a 3 pts 2 blocks a rebound and that all happened in just 1:30 of the game time. hope they don't over-rely and over pressure this kid, he seems to go in really far distance for the Spurs.
No it is not. Only a very soft person would have that impact them psychologically. People get blocked and get scored on in EVERY SINGLE game of the year.
@RealIsm-rj6kw when you are 7'5 hell when you are 7foot you dont move like that. From time to time you might see a center stay in front of a ball handler but not like that. Wemby read all his moves and shifted his feet perfectly with his moves. Idk how you cant be impressed by that.
@@Mike-hy8csnah no cap some people really don’t understand how scary this is if he can do this and stay injury free it’s frightening to think about his improvement if he puts the work in he’s literally gifted and blessed with a body that can easily make him one if not the greatest player of all time surpassing the likes of MJ although I doubt that, it is possible
Look what Pop did with Leonard.....now imagine this dude in 3 years under Spurs coaching staff! Please stay healthy Wemby, this will a masterpiece to watch 3 years from now !
When you have to change your shooting style to beat the block, you know he's having an effect on the game. Wemby is breaking the blocks record this season, I can feel it.
Thats a f*ckin show right there. Extremely worth the price of admission 🔥🔥🔥 The away crowd is ooohhhing in awe of what theyre seeing lol, it'll be in every city this season 😆 He's getting a signature move when he blocks a shot then leaks out then waits for all his defenders to get to him then just does the Shaq attack dunk. I mean he's taller than everybody so he can dunk on anybody with that move 😆
Thats AD move when he played PF, watch 2020 Lakers the numbers of time AD did that is crazy, but he had Lebron and Rondo on the team, 2 of the best passer ever, and also Lebron, Caruso, Dwight, Danny Green, KCP or even Mcgee, that team was a monster on defense so they had a lot of transition opportunities… When i look at Victor, im just thinking at the end of this season he will already be better than AD or Embiid, it’s all about the IQ, off ball movements, screening and just learning everything about the game, every plays and schemes, and adapting to NBA speed and spacing .. And this kid is just 19, and because he never saw a player with his frame, athleticism and skills, he can’t really look at 1 or 2 player and say that’s how i want to play, kind of like Lebron back in 2003, he had Magic Johnson size and passing, but with Iverson speed, MJ finishing and body control, Vince Carter vertical and dunking ability, Pippen ability to guard 1-5 and ability to get streaky from 3 at 6’8 like T-Mac, so instead of just being another Magic, he became the King 👑 And its the same for the 👽, he has Porzingis height and 3pts shooting, Mark Eaton rim protection, AD ability to guard 1-5 and block 3’s, KD handles and midrange game and giant strides like Giannis in Transition, and also flashes of a good passer, not Jokic or Lebron level, but like Giannis or KD, but with the ability to make passes over or around the defense …
i said a year ago, wemby is ohtani, a real unicorn, a once in a lifetime player, then the spurs got him, and now hes even better than my wild and impossible expectations. if the nba can fix the officating, the flopping and the 3 point thing, man it could be a new golden era of basketball
@@iannovak5223 its boring to watch teams that cant shoot 3's just chuck 3's. or even 2 great teams just flop and chuck up 3's, like the celtics for instance lmao. im just sayin the talent in the league is incredible, the refs and soccer style flopping is only thing holding nba back from #1 status
@@mortystraphouse5077 The flopping can be fixed by simply having higher standards for fouls. Now how do you fix the 3 pointer "problem"? Can you give me reasonable solution.
@@mortystraphouse5077 More than MJ, not even a question. You know how much we care about our stats in Basketball, right? Every single point related stat will have a pre and post 3 point line amendment asterisk. It's way too radical of a solution to be called a reasonable/realistic one. I would go as far as to say it's a straight up pipe dream.
That was impresive, smooth shot just like Duncan, long arms like Robinson, and great awareness like Ginobli.... ❤❤They got greatness all in one player. Best of luck for that young man..
The thing that stood out for me most of this sequence is at 0:15, when he helped/anticipated the drive from Curry and then right after turned around because of a anticipated offensive rebound from Wiggins while the ball was in the air, and then he rebounded the ball.
Klay and Wiggins blocked in a span of a minute. And he scored on the very next possessions. I mean maybe okay to do vs G Leaguers but those 2 are All Stars. Wow!
He's gotta stay relatively injury free for that, but man, skill-wise and natural gift-wise, it's looking scary. The only thing that scares me is how skinny he is, but this'll be a dope ass career to follow, no doubt.
Pay attention, folks. Time will tell regarding his career length, but we’re seeing once-in-a-lifetime talent. His potential is scary. To play this well at this level at 19 is absolutely insane. He’ll get so much better.
Bro I know Wilt was goated but he scored 100 agains a knicks team that went 21-59. Amazing stat but I’m pretty sure it was 1962 and he was a god amongst a league of 70% plumbers.
@@dewman7477 he did. It’s a fact. I think he’s the greatest of all time, but let’s be real, the 100pt game he scored was against a shit knicks team that was still ranked 9th in the league. The entire league was bad in 1962. Ant it’s a fact that most of them had side jobs.
@@BarrackObamna ok but it’s incredible scoring 100 points and wilt is more dominant than Shaq physically speaking and more athletic and wemby is no one compare to peak wilt. Wemby is skinny but has better shooting. Wilt was a FORCE in strength and stamina and speed freak of nature he makes Giannis and LeBron and even Shaq look like kids. Imagine wilt in this nba if Giannis and LeBron and wemby and curry are dominant he’d average 40 points per game at his best MINUMUM.
Such a different player now if you compare his SL debut. Wemby is a jack of all trades. Making 3s, gets in the paint, rebounds, great ball handling and blocks. Its like five 5 NBA players in one. Lets not forget all time great Gregg is coaching him. It looks like a perfect fit.
Hello from France, with us for several years that have it, knows that he is a player with a unique talent. He is so versatile mobile and agile and as intelligent, and he will still progress in a lot of play sector. We have so much hope thanks to him for the Olympic Games next year in Paris. Go Wemby !
Born and raised in the Bay and this is the first time I was rooting for someone on the other team. I hope this kid has a successful career cause he is so much fun to watch.

Serving today: Le And1, le normal block, le fuck you transitionwaitforyoutoblowbydunk, le getthatweakshitouttahereblock and le nooneknowswhatpositionheplays/center taking…a 3 in transition. @@youtubewatcher8565 Its been that way all along. Curry is able to introduce long range 3s and move it to a guard focused league for a few years, but eventually, tall people would just learn to shoot 3s like Jokic, Embiid, Victor, Chet etc. and short players like Curry can't do anything about it, cause they are doing all the point guard stuff like him, but they are 12 inches taller.

Its literally insane how he hardly has any weak spots. Once this man gains some more muscle, he will run circles around most of the best players in the league.
