This Video Doorbell is just TOO good! 😍  

Dude blink sucks. Source: I’ve been a home security technician for 10 years and have installed virtually every brand of doorbell camera you can imagine, I also get the calls when something doesn’t work right. Blink is better than nothing for the price but you get what you pay for.

Mine lasts maybe 2 months and we have to switch it and I've tried different battery combos. 2 Energizer AA seems to last the longest. Night mode is alright, but if somebody was vreaking in idk if they'd get a good ID on the person due to the lag of the video. We have multiple of the blink cameras for our house, but mostly just to check on my pets. You do have to also pay for subscription with BLINK. Its not much, but its something i believe should be stated clearly. Get RING or NIGHTOWL instead. Much better quality video and audio and battery life and worth the extra money.

Made by Amazon is why I would never consider it since Amazon cannot be trusted. This device will spy on you as ALL Amazon devices do.

How are these not being stole from your door?

These cameras are pointless with batteries they don’t last any longer than 3weeks at push and they never catch the footage you want or need , if you want a decent camera that records everything 24/7 a cctv system is always the better way to go

Its terrible. Only good thing about it is the sound is half clear. The night vision doesnt puck anything up and has a blurry spot in the middle and the app doesnt let you download anything anymore despite subscriptions. Tape all the way.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ALL LIES !!!!!! they live videos sucks the door bell is delayed when I called customer service I’m told it’s was my internet I even had my internet company come out to check and my internet connection was supper no issues also the camera system goes off line a lot !!!!! I wasted to much of money on this sercurity system

I had this and I wasn’t satisfied the blink module is always disconnecting, and buying batteries to keep my doorbell online gets too expensive plus it’s a constant issue because if it isn’t one its the other. I got so annoyed that I switched to ring doorbell because it has rechargeable batteries and it was on sale for the holidays so win win right?! Also I purchased backup batteries that I fully charged and it’s ready to go for when my batteries need replacing that way it’s never down not for long at least and also no module required and honestly thank goodness 😅 the no module was what sold me I pay a small subscription which is fine blink also has a subscription I didn’t think blink subscription was worth it I think it’s more expensive than ring doorbell and they are both owned by Amazon I think Amazon recently took over ring I’m not sure because I remember when I was looking to purchase a doorbell ring was too expensive at the time and blink was affordable so I went with that purchase I don’t remember ring doorbell being owned by Amazon at the time maybe I wasn’t paying attention but when searching to switch this time during my switch I discovered it’s owned by Amazon so I purchased it because I have Amazon devices plus I love Amazon and I originally wanted a ring doorbell when I purchased the blink but I couldn’t afford it at the time so I went with what I could afford now don’t get me wrong the blink is beautifully designed I liked it a lot I just hope future models will get upgraded to rechargeable and get rid of the module I hate the module most of all. But if they make it where it stands alone with no module required that would be fantastic and for it to be rechargeable that would be awesome hopefully they upgrade it soon and keep it at a moderate price I would go back to blink because overall I liked it a lot.

The nighttime camera quality looked decent because he was so close to the camera. It would be different if he was further away

I have this and some Blink Mini wired indoor cameras. What I like BEST is when someone rings it, it plays the chime sound out of all the cameras’ speakers AND my 2nd gen echo dot!

The battery does not last two years it last me at most and I said generously two month!! The live function takes ten second and my WiFi is over 300mbps.

Nope. Blink is slow AF. Whoever’s at your front door will be gone before the app even notify you OR it will notify you on time but won’t even load the video. It is a budget friendly version of Ring and that’s a fact

bro i have one rn and the connection is soooo bad the sync module is literally near the router with full bars of internet connection plus near the doorbell to get that full connection and it still says device is offline like cmon

I bought these and returned it for the Ring branded doorbell because it doesn't allow for live viewing. People visiting might go back thinking no one's at home until this thing decides to show you who's at the door.

Haha the one they sent me was the biggest pile of junk I’ve ever had. Returned it … VERY poor connection even tried two different sync modules and three different Wi-Fi connections, couldn’t view live feed or even take a picture 🤣😂 a useless gadget! The ringtone was ok though when I pressed it myself to see if I was at home 🤣🤣🤣

Blink picture quality is terrible. The newer ring doorbells and Nest doorbells are much better. you need to do more comparisons.

I’d rather go with reolink no subscription needed all recorded on my nvr. Ring just put up their subscription by 43% this one will be next I’d rather pay £75 upfront and I control the recording for free

I have fitted 2 of these for customers recently. You cannot get a compatible chime. Completely useless doorbell for people who don't want alexa devices spying on them in their own homes. A doorbell that doesnt work as a doorbell, stupid!!!!
