I have a couple of questions. 1. How have the national clubs done in European competitions in terms of coeffecent, and number of clubs that can play in Europe. 2. Do the Euros really rotate between 8 combinations of hosts in a set order?

can only give you a reply to question no 2: WC is played always on a different continent and there is also an order. Like Qatar 2022 in Asia, 2026 in the North Americas, 2030 in the South Americas and as you might has heard already about, that Australia is co hosting with Saudi Arabia for 2034. So 2038 should be Africa and 2042 Europe again and so on

0:11: If you've got a qualifying group where one team is the best by far & there's major competition for second place, it would make sense for the top team to deliberately lose to the worse of the potential second-place candidates so that they have a weaker team to play against in the actual tournament.

Aw do this for Malta. I would LOVE for Malta to get to a world cup and if our youth systems were better at promoting a professional mind in footballers I think we would regularly get into euros and maybe even a world cup

As someone who lives in Luxembourg it's to see some representation hehe (i kinda wish the Luxembourgish leagues was in FM playable). Ps.: that double nationality it's pretty normal here, there's lots of immigrants here, so more often that not, Luxembourgish players have double nationality (lot's of 2nd/3rd generation Portuguese descent players are part of the current national team)

Finally an FM video about us! Great video! I have to say we do still have a good chance to qualify for the Euros despite our embarassing loss. We actually have a great team right now, we just lose every hint of football ability every time we play Portugal (which is pretty often).

Hope you do qualify!! It would be so amazing and you're doing so well! Just gotta keep up the good work and ignore the massive defeat that just happened. I'm actually Portuguese, and the 9-0 wasn't necessarily Luxembourg playing bad, it was more of a case of "everything that could've gone well for us, did". I'd much rather have won 9-0 against Liechtenstein tbh, Luxembourg didn't deserve all the talking that came after and that shadowed the great job you're doing! Keep it up

All current Premier league teams have their best teams throughout the prem history. Chelsea 06.. City 2018.. Liverpool 2020, etc, and make that into a league and see who's the best once and for all

what a coincidence tom...i just start a new saves with custom db that allow me to play luxemburg league a week ago..i choose dudelange as my team..tbh, its basically a farmer league after i manage to unlock professional status for the club, but it still nowhere to compete in continental competition, but after a few season, i finally manage to win uefa cup, and then theres this huge massive boost reputation after years stuck in 2 stars, now is 3 stars and finally the board allow me to have more coach and facilities upgrade.

yo same i started with swift hesperange about 2 months ago and after i got pro status it changed everything, im consistently making knockouts for europa league, and as luxembourg coach im making most international competitons.

Try making one for Singapore. At least we (Singaporeans) can "enjoy" a simulated one. We had several aims to qualify for World Cup (in 2010 or 2034) but we are thrash for decades already. Thank you in advance.

there is a quicker way to do it then 140 years also could be a challenge to do it quicker with out giving them upgrades . i have made most obscure country's win world cup with out editing any data in under 100 years simulating it of course

luxembourg is a country with a lot of immigrants and also luxembourg has a lot of portuguese living here. that is why the double nationality. just like me i am portuguese but i was born here in luxembourg.

I did explain it for the video but it was like 2 mins of talking which is quite boring. But basically the format was going to change for 2026. More nations but only 3 per group. Then after the 2022 World Cup they reversed the number of teams per group decision. But it's already coded into FM23 to be the 3 team way.
