I live in the Indianapolis area and know the guy at that booth and your instincts are not wrong. Your first interaction with him and Chase was catching him on a good day. Sadly, most days he has that demeanor and dare I say attitude you encountered today. He has great stuff but I’ve stopped shopping with him for that reason. Would love to take you to lunch if ever in the Indy area again. Big fan of your channel!

That dude was trying to rip you off. I would not pay up for something that was labeled, that is just me. If you are running a shop it is your job to have your pricing correct, not the customers. Nice video and nice haul =)

Great job! That guy was definitely slimey. Ultimately, he honored the price stickered. You are very respectful when asking and negotiating pricing. Some resellers are very aggressive and stand-offish. You’re one of the good guys! Nice day’s profit margin. Keep it up!

I was at that same market, that little guy prices his stuff wayyyyyyy too high. That Hispanic guy you talked to for the LEGO Dimensions will work with you if you buy multiple games. I ended up buying all his switch games last time I was there, I spent $500 but there was more than $1200 in switch games in that deal.

I'm always so bummed that there are no Mega Replay or Disc Traders in Cincy. Closest one is in Lima Ohio... I have to get my fix when I visit my parents in my hometown in Indiana I guess. I had been looking for that Croods game for my Wii U collection, nice snag for $17!!!

Being an Amazon seller is just so dramatically different. I wish I didn’t adamantly hate that company as I’m fully aware of how much more lucrative it is for a reseller versus eBay. Hearing those Atlantis and 102 prices are just nutty when compared on my stores prices and eBay sales. I’d never operate on that Margin. I get why other resellers sell on Amazon, but it’s always mind boggling to me how many consumers do absolutely no price comparisons....

A place I recommend if you’re going up to Indy (I’m assuming you have to go thru Greenwood, a suburb on the south side) is Game Preserve. It’s a pretty cool place I usually get good deals

Yeah everyone thinks they have gold now. My goodwills all want $10 for gamecube games that are only worth $5 on Ebay and plus they look like they were dragged behind a car, they'll also put games in the "special" cabinet for $25-30. Everyone watches these collector videos now and checks Ebay. Searching craigslist, so many ads trading Switches or just buying old games outright. No more deals in my area are least. I used to go to a comic shop that purposely didn't put prices on anything because he would look everything up on Ebay while you sat at the counter. Very annoying and I stopped going there.

I've found my Half Price Books slippin a bunch of times, including a $2 Def Jam Fight for NY on PS2 (on the clearance rack!) and a few months ago got Pokemon Gale of Darkness on Gamecube for $15. Love when that happens.

I went to a local game store who had Chrono Trigger DS complete with the poster priced for $79.99. I thought, cool, I'll flip it. When I went to the register to pay, the cashier said that it was going for double now and was changing the price on me to $99.99 to meet me in the middle. I passed since I was upset that they changed the price at the register. Their other store didn't do that in the past, so that surprised me. Another local store does the same thing and apparently, stores have the right to do that. Sad.
