Also another tip for newer players, don’t try to level up every character at once especially if you’re not going to use them (I made this mistake when I first started playing)
Tips: only level up "useful" Characters till level 60 since only that level can unlock new talent + level up ur main dps to level 80. The rest just keeps hold first while u farming with ur useful characters 👌🏻
alot of people say things like: "dont bother levelling characters if you dont use them" but they really help if your new, sometimes you get quests where you need specific elements but you didn't level them, it can be really annoying to have to go farm when all your bosses are level 60+ and it can be stressful. I farmed artifacts, characters and materials whilst i was still ar25+ so i could get them easily, it really helped me throughout the game! If you dont understand what they are when your new, you can research or watch streamers who have been playing for ages.
another tip i find useful is using the genshin ascension planner. it really helped me plan ahead how many books and mora i need to save for each character and which one i should prioritize. tysm for these tips!! 💞💞
For anyone seeing this now. I want you to know that no matter what world lvl you are you should do the ley lines. They were actually made for lower ar player cus they wouldent have as many ways to get lvl up mats

That's great advice, thanks for this video! :) One thing though: Ley lines actually give the same rewards on World level 6, 7 and 8 so you can start farming them when you reach AR45.
actually, all the ley lines and boss farming is recommended for low ar/ low world level. Once you hit ar 45, you're gonna be hitting artifact farming hell anyways. So the leveling up, talents, is recommended to do before that. Of course, I am aware that it will give you less rewards but, low ar is when you have a bunch of quests on your list and you are most likely to spend your time on them anyways. So instead of just letting your resin cap, do a few leylines now and then wont take much time.
So you recommend that someone wastes their resin on things that aren't guaranteed as opposed to things that are guaranteed? Better to get 20 hero's wits than 0 usable artifacts.
@@shemage5932 Lmao hero wits for what? Are you planning on leveling up all characters you got? That is more concerning. I always recommend to prioritize level > talents > artifact. But leveling up characters and getting talents books is already accessible when you’re low ar but artifact is not until you’re ar 45. So why not prepare them early so that you can use your resin on actually building your characters?
@@pencilcase5201 Because not everyone's situation is the same. Here's my example: I went into 3.6 first half unsure if I'd get anything. I managed to win 50/50 and get Nahida, then got Nilou at 1 pity right after. I also got Kuki. Now I need to do farm like hell for those 3, Xingqiu and Barbara, all for the sake of making 2 teams. Half a patch prior, I've pre-farmed stuff for Ayaka and Shenhe and got them nicely leveled. Now I'm all out of xp books and barely have any mora to spare. Don't you think that, in this situation, it'd be better to focus my resin on stuff I desperately need ( that's guaranteed),as opposed to stuff I'm not guaranteed to get?
@@shemage5932 My tip is for those new players that thinking they should save their resin until high world level to do leylines ( which is what the woman in the video said ). But during the early ar, you really don’t have anything to spend resin on except talent books and leyline and weekly bosses do you? So why don’t you farm them right then? Your situation in the other hand, don’t fits in that category so idk why are you even here. But if you ask me, yes. If you lack exp book, farm them. Because you should prioritize level > talents > artifact. You’re welcome.
I just started playing genshin this June. now I got AR 45. The only thing is I still don't understand how to build chara using artifacts, talent, what is crit rate, what is DMG, and what team that good enough for my party. What is DPS, Main DPS, etc. I'm so desperate xD
There are tons of guides to each character there is out there (example: search for a Jean build video). Those will explain pretty much what a character needs in regards to artifacts, weapon and team play. Main dps is the character that is supposed to or Deals the most damage in your team. Crit rate or dmg helps your character to do damage in big numbers. Most players tend to to the 1:2 ratio which means 50% crit rate with around more than 100% crit damage (but this depends on the character)

People say not to level up your characters all at once but it is very helpful especially if you have less characters in recommend levelling until 20-35 and focus on trying to build a specific team.. I also recommend levelling the traveller, lisa and kaeya because they can be helpful for some bosses if you dont have better characters. So nyeah dont leave em at lvl 1 but also dont level them up too much.
im stuck, cause i let my sister play on my genshin account and she raised my world level and the monsters are like lvls 50-62 and my characters are still lvl 40 - 60 aether is at like lvl 56 xaio is lvl 50 my jean is the lvl 60 and the rest are lvl 40 😭
I once saw a tip that's say "if your struggling with monster level lower ur world level" I don't know how it works but if u configure it out, it will be good for you :)

Tbh my goal is to level up all my characters (and i will try to only use 4 of them which are already leveled up), rn all my characters are lvl 50+, except the ones i use or i used to use( with lvl 90). So it is not really a mistake to lvl everyone up
Also when you are trying to get weapon enchantments ore's, just craft them by the bunch from the stuff you either manually or auto collect. Saves a lot of time, money and no hasseling with shops.

@@holofan5207 Those ones are good options too! I'd recommend Skyward Spine more because it has higher base attack and more %energy recharge, but actually (if you have billets) Prototype Starglitter has more energy recharge than Skyward Spine (despite it being a 5-star vs a 4-star) and you don't have to worry about refining Starglitter.
This is very helpful because i made the mistake of not leveling up my characters enough and now I'm 5 levels too low to fight childe in the Liyue archon quest.
