It would be really funny to learn that Zunesha was originally from Long Ring Long land and got banished to walk the seas as a result of a Davy Back fight
@@tart06tron91 Zunesha is a giant elephant with a giant mouth. Doesn't matter if Zunesha is male or female, probably would sound like that either way... Matter of fact, probably should have a deeper voice...
@@Niko__01Probably no voice, like how a giraffe makes no noise due to its lung capacity and the amount of airflow it'd have to make to vibrate its vocal cords
Thinking about it now, Saint Charlos is insanely lucky he didn't get away with enslaving Shirahoshi. I don't care where they would have put that girl, her screams would have reached the Seakings and they would have torn the red line to shreds to get to her.
Wow I honestly never considered that! Almost wish he had gotten away with it now. I can already see a scenario where they’re tearing down the cliff walls little by little, the other Celestial Dragons are screaming at Charlos to give her back and he’s like “NUUUUU SHE’S MIIINE!!” and they proceed to beat him to a pulp. LOL
@@zan31669Read the title and the thumbnail it look like some thing happened with luffy or there is a new chapter hed relished and some thing happened 😑
Theory 1) Zuneshas crime was sinking 99% of the land on earth leaving only islands in his wake, in the process accidentally forcing himself to only walk the seas for the rest of his life. Theory 2) Since his punishment is "for eternity" it might have to do with Immortality Operation, maybe they stole it from Imu or something. That or "for eternity" is just for dramatic effect.
@@aduck9725As he didn't step foot into any country always wading high seas... yeah, he's the largest tax evader... definitely LARGEST... it went probably "I wanna put my island in your country" and each country responded with "No... you would probably try to evade taxes like always and make money at expanse of our country" thus he has to carry his island always with him never allowed to put it anywhere though at first buying a land and bringing it out of country to evade taxes might have sounded like good idea
the way you explain, name, and even talk about everything has such a huge amount of charm to it, you have such a calming voice that can have people (being me) watch all of your videos without end and not get tired of it! do not change, you amazing man on the internet.
I always confuse sea kings, sea beasts etc. I feel like lord of the coast has to actually be a sea beast not a sea king because hes just so much smaller. I also think its so cool how the sea kings the strawhats see when they accidentally entered the grand line are the same ones that came to help shirahoshi both times she called for them.
@@Tityusbahiensis Shanks losing his arm to it still doesn't really make sense to me. I've heard a few potential explanations that _kinda_ make sense, but they still felt like a stretch.
Zunesha is too much of a good boy. I doubt he would do anything bad. His punishment was either for a crime he did not commit or he did something that didn't deserve punishment. Much like how Tom was punished for making Roger's ship, Zunesha was punished for helping Joy Boy, but I personally believe the story is much sadder. Zunesha feels responsible for Joy Boy's death so he asked the leader of the Kozuki to order him to wander the world until the drums of liberation could be heard again.
Honestly I kinda doubt it. I feel like it was just meant as a sort of lingering mystery to close out Thriller Bark. Like they’re more for the spooky ghost story vibe than anything.
@@cartoonishidealism582that can’t make sense considering we actually saw them. Who’s to say we don’t go back to the FT an encounter them or outside of it, Goda isn’t the type of person to just not use a mystery inducing image like that as future plot points.
I always thought that those giant creatures of the Florian triangle were just people or at least something from another sky island above, which made that place be always dark
@@Jay.D.Argonautwe’re not going back to the Florian triangle of all places. Sometimes mysteries staying unanswered makes them scarier, like what happened to bege that one time. We don’t need an answer to every little thing
Given how many people give serious answers, like losing what ever war could of happened in the void century, or murder of some figure. I think we're going to get something very insignificant as the actual crime. Like Tax Evasion.
I believe zuneshas crime could be in assisting in the development of reverse mountain on the red line in order to allow for people to freely travel between the one piece oceans and grandline. Which would obviously add a chaotic element to the world which is why it was shunned by the future world government
I don't think so, if the World Government really didn't want people using it, they would simply place marine outposts at every entrance to stop everyone using it.
My problem with 90% of he theories of what Zunesha's crime could have been is that most of them assume the punishment was carried out by the world government. But not only why would Zunesha care about the world government, but also Zunesha's orders are changed by Momo... Zunshesha could not act upon the attack by Jack until Momo gave him the order. If his punishment was given to him by the world government (which once again, why would he listen to) why would Momo be able to issue orders, and change his orders? The punishment had to be given by Joyboy or an ally (or who we assume were allies at this point, as we don't really know much about the void century right now) like the Kozuki clan.
I think Zunesha being Joyboys companion went to rescue him after the world government captured him and tried to execute him however he failed to save joyboy and he went on a rampage causing thousands of innocent casualties this rage also prevented Im from retreving the Nika fruit from Joyboy's corpse. However Zunesha blames himself for the crime of failing to save his nakama and the massacre and imposed a punishment to walk the seas and never stop
I feel a fun theory for Zunesha is that it is Lily and Imu changed her to that as punishment for spreading the poneglyphs. But if not maybe Zunesha did something else to help Joyboy? Or maybe Zunesha got caught up w prior engagement and couldn't help Joyboy when he needed it..?
Never gonna forget the moment the crew ended up in the Calm Belt and just this whole NEST of sea kings surfaced underneath them. Monsters in general can be creepy enough, but I feel like SEA monsters are in a league of their own. Unique body structures, unfamiliar abilties, completely stuck in their element...
I think the shadows in Florian Triangle definitelly have something to do with the old kingdom that was defeated 800 years ago, mainly because there would be no point in determining a sentence for Zou if there was no one around that could effectivelly carry out punishment if Zou refused to cooperate. If there's a convict that size, there must be a similar-sized jury
Oooo I never thought about them like that hmmm intresting..... would be great way to reveal them however I do think they are gunna stay a hidden mystery in the fog but I do love that idea
Zunesha's crime is that he is a coward. He is a battle elephant with a nation of warriors on his back so he was probably an insurance for something equally large. Considering his location he was probably the insurance for what we now know as Onigashima. Oda frequently portays characters with a long nose as cowards, like Usopp and Blackbeard. I think Oda did a good job with his wild life because if you put them all together like this in a video its easy to see that humans tested the expirements like gigantification and combining dna first on animals. Hence why chopper is the poster child for bio engineering.
think with how elephants are very good builders zunisha helped either create the red line/marejois or served the ancient kingdoms maybe destroying one by accident atoning for his sin.(also would love to see surume again/like the sea cat.:3)
To be honest, given Zunesha was a companion of Joyboy, i'm wondering if the "crime" was the death of joyboy which Zunesha feels guilty for and the punishment is self-inflicted. The anime has Zunesha say the line "Joyboy has returned" in a way that feels like someone who is finally feeling better about themself, like sanji during whole cake or robin in enies lobby
Supposedly the Florian Monsters are much taller than Zunesha, judging from their depicted size. But it should bear mentioning that Zunesha is already almost as tall as the Ionosphere, which is 45km. The only thing restricting that height is the fact that it's submerged in the ocean. The Florians are so gigantic that they seem to stretch above the atmosphere itself. If you approached them, they'd never come into focus because they're so large that you'd only ever see their base with any clarity - they'd tower so high that even from their "torsos" you'd have to look up, seeing only their bodies in your entire field of vision as their heads swing above the planet in space. That's so big that you'd probably be able to see bits of one from at least half of the planet at any given time. Basically, they're too large to be real, even in this setting.
I really hope we get more information on the monster in the florian triangle I feel like it’s either going to be a huge revelation or it’s just a throw away detail
The thought of how many sea kings have died from accidental eating devil fruits is funny, like imagine a sea king eating a ship and swallowing a devil fruit user and then not being able to move
Oars isn't even THAT impressive compared to our own world from the stats... He's actually kind of a lightweight The biggest blue whale ever found was 33m long so Oars is DOUBLE the size but even smaller whales weight around 200 tons (so double the weight from Oars) Don't get me started on the island eater
I think its clear what happenned. Xebec despite Blackbeard is a good guy. and he wanted to go to god valley because his child was born. he said to kaido "something great happenned, lets sail to god valley!!!" and later kaido says to king: "I know who could be joy boy". its like shanks thought that ace, his cpatains son could be joy boy... kaido thought that xebecs son could be joy boy. I think BB is a clone of xebec. BB wants revange because they killed xebec and his wife. OR maybe the lurking legend is xebec and still alife waiting for joy boy. garp saved xebecs son from god valley as he did with ace, because thats what garp does, and to protect him he said that its his nephew. and people think that its the son of dragon. garp also said that. but its probably not true !!! I think Luffy is the son of xebec!!! also if this is true then the mother of him would be a celestial dragon form god valley and luffy would be also one!!!!!!
Zunesha obviously committed the very serious crime of being one of the “elephants on parade” in Dumbo’s acid trip dream from the classic Disney movie. That’s why he knew Joyboy who is also a Disney cartoon character.
Dude I've been a fan for years but you gotta tone down these titles. I would normally like the video but the title and thumbnail got me overly hyped for this video and while the content was interesting, it was over compensated for.
If joyboy was anything like luffy than our elephant dude probably ate all the food at a party all by himself and was hence punished by the boy with the joy for not sharing it.
It would be interesting to see a future where the florian triangle monsters are some of the original 20 swords that founded the wg I doubt that this is true but the similarities are there
I always thought that those giant creatures of the Florian triangle were just people or at least something from another sky island above, which made that place be always dark
Liam i really appreciate your content about a year and a half ago i got into one piece and used your channel as a guide i am currently on episode 1037 and shits getting real thank you liam and all your hard work mich love and appreciation you will always have me and my brothers support
Speaking as a longtime subscriber to this channel… could some of these video titles be retroactively changed? They don’t provide any information about the video topic at all. I’m not faulting trying to clickbait (RU-vid as a job is not easy), but it makes it nearly impossible to look through archived content in the channel playlists and find topics to watch When there are dozens of videos titled stuff like “WE ARENT READY FOR THIS”, it’s impossible to identify what video is anything Maybe change the titles to something more descriptive after a couple weeks of the original upload date?
Okay hear me out : Oda could have choose any animal for Zunesha, but he made him an elephant. What is the most iconic characteristic of elephants ? Their trunk. I believe Zunesha's crime is that he accidentally spilled water on someone or something with his trunk. Maybe on a kingdom ? Maybe on an ANCIENT Kingdom ?
I have a crazy theory that the shadow creatures were banished to the Florian triangle by Joy Boy and Zuneisha during the void century, and the surviving fledgling of the race snuck away and grew to power to become Imu, vowing to control the world that was created by through the victory of Joy Boy. With Joy Boy dead, Imu rose to power and banished Zuneisha for its war crimes. Now the darling Imu is Hell bent to subjugate the world.
pretty sure that bananawani prey on juvenile sea kings, since the fully grown ones are simply too big. but smaller ones, like the king of the seas, are fair game for them. it would make sense for something so big to start out small and vulnerable too.
Jacques Cousteau would have a field day seeing all of these monstrous marine creatures - Also there is another Sea King that has a name like the Lord of the Coast & that would be the Master of the Waters (it was frozen by Kuzan)
mr.Liam mastered the art of reverse click baiting, in any other channel a title like that would obviously be a clickbait with a shitty video, but with the grandlinereview logo under it, you know that you're getting a hell of a good video that exceeds what the title says.
Because Zuneisha was punished for their crimes and not outright killed, that means they probably couldn't kill Zuneisha. So instead the crime they were punished for would probably be of the ironic: An Elephant Never Forgets. Zuneisha walks the world cursed with the knowledge of the Void Century, but no way to tell it to others until recently.
I hope tells Oda reveals more backstory about Zunesha in the future. As for its crime maybe it was punished by Imu for helping Joy boy or maybe it punished itself for failing to help Joy boy when he needed him the most.
>Umi= sea in Japanese >Umibozo=sea monster >FTMs are based on umibozo >FTMs have red eyes >imu had red eyes >imu is reverse umi >imu is a silhouette just like FTMs >they have same body structure >imu=FTMs? (FTMs=florian triangle monsters)
I actually don't think Zunesha committed a crime, and that he was actually punished for failing to do something (or protect something). That could still arguably be a crime, but my point is that it wasn't something done out of malice. For example, let's say the Minks initially lived in the Ancient Kingdom, which as far as we know, was wiped out by the original 20 Celestial Dragon families. The Minks, as close allies to Joyboy and the Kozuki family (who may or may not have been the original Joyboy), punished Zunesha for this failure and tasked him with walking seas, carrying the surviving Minks on his back until Joyboy's return. Once the Dawn is brought to the world, as it pertains to the Minks, Zunesha is released from his punishment, and the Minks can return to their ancestral home.
5:20 So, if he would shrink to 2 m, he would weigh about 2.7 kg. Pretty sure even Brook is meatier than that. 7:35 The weight of a blue whale, yet over 27 times longer (like hell it's supposed to be measured like in the picture). The fact that almost none of One Piece characters have an official weight might be a blessing in disguise. Seriously, authors and math - is flunking it in school a job requirement or something?
I think thatl Zuneisha's crime was being an ally of Joyboy, i mean the government hated Joyboy, so i dont think they would hesitate to give Zuneisha a punishment like this. I also think the Ope Ope no mi was involved because his crime is punished eternally, so they probably performed the immortality surgery on Zuneisha or Zuneisha's crime was being made immortal and bring Joyboy's ally, so the world government knew that Zuneisha would give knowledge to Joyboy's successor, so they sent Zuneisha to walk the seas forever to hopefully keep him away from Joyboy.
God that would be the most conclusive and satisfying death ever. Floating into a leviathan of a black hole all alone in space. Millions of light years away from earth. And then watching the whole universe and time slip away for years as you finally succumb to the black hole. (Or starvation, suffocation, dehydration) Wouldn’t even be pissed of dying that way. That would be awesome.

Completely unrelated to this video, but... The reason Kuma went to the Holy Land is to finish what the giant robot started. Vegapunk extracted the mechanism in the robot and placed it in Kuma, and once a certain thing were to happen, such as Kuma's actual death, his body is to return to the Holy Land and inact the giant robot's programming. Also, what if Kuma's soul was moved into that robot, and that is why it has suddenly has awakened? Daddy coming back to protect his little girl one last time.
