I'm soooo jealous! That 11.7lbs is a lil less than a pound away from the Washington state record. A good day of fishing for me is a day on the water. A great day for me is catching anything 4+lbs. Hooking into what you caught would be a story I'd tell every day for the rest of my life. My personal best is 5lbs 14oz and I still dream of that catch. Thank you for showing me how it's done.

Ben Toledo bend is an amazing lake. I make trips twice a year and we kill them. There is so much underwater obstruction great for fish.

There is some pigs in that lake. Couple years ago I had a 9.13 and a 9.03 off that island in the back. Them changing the length limit several years ago definitely made a difference. Operation world record program made a big impact on it also.

I seen the same thing happen to me today in northwest mo but instead of a crappie the fish that the bass was chasing was a bluegill and the bass wasn’t near as big as the in your video. (Small pond). Same result as well. Aka nothing!!!!

One day 3 of us went fishing. We're coming off the marina and there was a grandkid furiously casting at a spot while grandpa looked on. We stopped and asked what was up. Grandpa said there was a huge northern eating a big largemouth and on que it surfaced. At least a 3' pike with a 16" plus bass halfway down it's gullet and it was struggling at the surface. Started debating of "whip the cell and wallet out and jump in throw it up on the bank for the kid" and then it disappeared. Didn't see it again. Awesome to see

Saw a six pound bass with a two pound bass in its throat surfaced one time just motionless.Thought they were both dead,pulled the 2lb out of its mouth and the six pounder sprung back to life and kicked away.Bass are crazy
