Since you are muddling the screw holes, why don’t you try muddied the seams? It would make the wall cleaner looking.

There will be trim over the seams.

Ashley, if you use a 1 inch putty knife to mud the screw holes you would have very little sanding, if any. Love the videos!

One long stripe over a row of screws with a 3” knife work fast and less work over all :-).

Use a damp sponge instead of sanding.. Go in a circler manner and you can blend the edges.

Looked like a fun time in the parade. I was hoping to see Jojo with some antlers on. That was a Great deal on that bed set and it gives you another excuse to paint. I think you like the painting part of your projects best. Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing.

Couple of painting tips . Put a few holes on top lip with a nail , paint will run back in can & put a plastic bag over paint tray saving u a clean up just remove bag after finishing .

Ashley I agree with the other comment who suggested use of a one inch putty knife it will reduce sanding and can help on taping and muddying the seams. Before paint mix your mud watered down and roll after tape and bedding it’s called texturing the wall gives a design and help seal whole wall. Love your videos keep them coming. Gary

I have had so many people show me different techniques and if you have watched me in the past, I have tried different techniques, I just find it works out best this way for me. I am on RU-vid, so there is no guarantee someones RU-vid video is going to be correct haha ;)

Use a 1inch putty knife (cost about $5). Hardly any sanding. Never ever seen anyone mud with their fingers. LOL
