Just think how long that final 7+ minutes would have been for the officials if they hadn't doled out the mass misconducts. It would not have changed the outcome, but we likely would now be talking about all the suspensions, and probably a couple injuries to boot. Kudos to the stripes for taking care of business when they saw the writing on the wall.

It truly is the most entertaining sport to watch. Very high speed (most of the time) and very high skill levels. When the games get a bit chippy or "heavy" they are even better.
The ref's initial quote is even better than this one. Before the refs met up and hammererd out the actual penalties, he said "Every player on the ice has a 10 minute misconduct, amongst other penalties."
I watched that game and it was absolute chaos. If anyone says hockey is boring, I'll be sure to use this as an example of why hockey isn't. Seeing the fights was great, but the shot of Grandma Tkachuk looking like she was about to head down to the locker rooms to give her grandsons an earful was the icing on the cake.

When it comes to the NHL and suspensions, especially coming from the DoPS, they are notoriously inconsistent. If Hamonic does somehow get suspended for leaving the bench and joining the scrum, I will be very surprised at that 😂.

If refs really wanted to get rid of all the pesky players doing dirty stuff then they should've just given entire Panthers team game misconducts!!? In my opinion the Panthers r probably the dirtiest team in NHL right now!!? They're constantly getting away with stuff that should be called!? Like last time they played the Bruins they were all pissy cuz of what happened with McAvoy hitting guy high in their previous meeting and they instantly went after McAvoy multiple times early in game and threw at least 3 big hits on McAvoy right away and all 3 hits were late and at least 2 were also high hits!!? One of em, the hit cousins did on McAvoy, fucking cousins not only hit him late and high but he also elbowed McAvoy in the process and there was a ref close by who saw it but they didn't call it!!? It's absolutely bullshit when refs watch a clear blatant penalty happen and do nothing!!? Wtf r they doing out there if they aren't guna call a blatant penalty that happened right in front of them!!? And the refs not calling things that r obviously penalties is what leads to shit shows like this happening cuz the refs don't do their job and properly police the game so then the players end up trying to handle it and then shit gets out of control!!?? Fucking refs need to pay better attention!? They also need to start getting better at recognizing when guys r embellishing cuz it's happening more frequently!? Also they need to clarify exactly what will and won't be called hooking,slashing, it holding and other penalties too and refs need to learn what is really a hook or slash cuz they give guys penalties for hooking and slashing all the time when there's really no hook or slash happening!!? They're calling guys for hooking when they're just trying to go for a stick lift!? It's fucking ridiculous!!? They call things hooking when there was never actually a real hook done it pisses me off!!? Just cuz a guy goes to try to stick lift a guy as he's chasing him down and the guy going for the stick lifts shaft happens to touch other guys gloves doesn't mean it's a hook!? Unless the guy actually gets his stick in guys hands or body and pulls back to try to slow up or drag down the guy then it shouldn't be called hooking!!? I've seen them call guys for hooking and there never was any hook done!? I've seen guys called for hooking when they were just going for a stick lift and did it right and it was all stick on stick contact but dumbass refs still called hooking even tho there literally was no hook!? It's fucking retarded some of the stuff they've called hooking or slashing!!? Refs gotta go back to school and re learn what the fuck a hook really is!!!? It pisses me off so much when I see refs calling these weak ass penalties that shouldn't be called cuz there's really no penalty on the play!!? They need to add a couple refs that r off ice and have access to video replay, just like the teams have video coaches that quickly look at replays and tell coach whether or not to challenge a call, and have those refs quickly looking at every call to make sure the correct calls r always made and if guys on ice make the wrong call the guys up top can radio to them so they can fix it and get the call right every time!!!? That way we aren't still having to live with obviously wrong calls that effect outcomes of games!!? We have the technology there's zero reason for us to have to still be living with wrong calls when it can easily be fixed!!!?
Love the vids bud and I know you run multiple channels but you gotta get these kind of reaction vids out earlier. I know you got a buddy that steps in to pop out vids on occasion for this channel so maybe if he is available have him do the reaction vids while you cover the other ones that aren't time sensitive. Tkachuk is nothing more than a cheap shot artist. Time and time again this guy takes liberties at other athletes on the ice and he needs to get a few tuning ups by some of the real big boys in the league.
I miss the old style hockey. Plus that was not goalie interference. That was a ref making an excuse. I’m a goalie and I’ve never had a fear call that when someone did that same thing to me. It’s aggressive hockey, and the league needs to promote it and not shy way from it. Let the big boys play the game they love if you don’t want physical contact then they can start a figure stating league and see how rating go
He ran into the goalie. You don't fucking do that. The league's not going to do anything about somebody running into the goalie purposely like that so that's why you get a fight. This is the way hockey is played. But in this crazy woke world of double standards in hypocrisy I guess this is just oh my god so offensive to see people do this! Oh my! How barbaric! Hockey is a rough game, and Tkachuk was just playing rough. If Tkachuk gave Bobrovsky the Marchand special then I can understand the massive brawl but he was just seeking the puck. Kulikov didn't need to start that and the rest of the Panthers didn't need to pile in like that. All that said, was incredibly entertaining to watch. Thanks for postin the vid and all the good stuff
He doesn’t mention it in the vid for some reason but there were multiple fights in this game leading up to that, which is why everyone was being so aggressive there
