There is so much vulnerability in that voice and it reminds us of the vulnerability of us all. This was a beautiful and heart-touching song and I thank the patron who requested it.

Haunting. Great sound. They make me think of Iron and Wine. Loved Iron and Wine's "Boy with a Coin." Talk about haunting -- jeesh. ••• With the image stabilization phones have now, I wonder if you could record with a phone attached to the top of a slow moving HO train. ••• Sandy! AGO!!!

I'm so glad you liked it. I love how the lyrics of this song fit so many different situations. It speaks to me in different ways each time I hear it and I'm glad it spoke to you. If I were to suggest another song by them, "The Silence" is definitely worth a listen. It's beautiful and heartbreaking. I love it.

Wow! This song is so poignant Tommy...The lyrics so poetic and honest..The vocalist has an emotive vulnerability and fragility in his delivery....My interpretation is that we are all souls navigating our path through this life and all its complexities. Our souls know the way but our egoiic minds and what we are taught hamper or assist us...We are here in this present moment to discover who we are meant to be and be authentic in that state. As you so often say Tommy, life is a journey and it's our choices that define us... Loved this !! THANKYOU!!!

I love Manchester Orchestra!! Their song The Silence is amazingly powerful and gives me chills every time I hear it. Bed Head and The Moth are another two I would strongly recommend and both of them are a bit heavier, if you'd like to hear that side of them.

Their song The Silence is an absolute masterpiece. Perfect song if there ever was one. They also have a song called The Wolf! 😂 Song is absolutely fire in a different way than these others.
